He's joining Beckham in the USHL for the Tri-City Storm, in 4 games he has 2 points (0g, 2 a) and 4 PIM, I'm curious to see if his brawling nature leads to many more penalties LW/RW Clifton 'Nugget' Ronzell- he decided to stay somewhat close to his home in Brookings and is playing for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL. In 4 games he has 7 points (3g,4a), lets see if he can stay healthy Next update will be at the NHL all star game

    [2019] Week 13 POTW

Week #13 OPOTW RB Terrence Rodgers, MSST, 25 carries for 127 yards, 3 TD vs Auburn (NG) Huge game out of arguably the most talented running back in the nation, Terrence Rodgers led the way to the Bulldog's big night game win over Auburn. He was able to sit down with SageBow for a quick interview. "Terrence, big win against Auburn last weekend. How were you able to get loose so many times against a stingy Tiger's defense?" "Hey, thanks SageBow. We watched a lot of film last week getting ready for the game. Coach liked the way we matched up with the defensive line and outside linebackers so we worked on lots of sweeps and off-tackle runs in practice. Auburn's been moving the ball really well in the second half of the season so we knew we had some work to do on offense in this game. In the end it worked out just like we drew it up." "Terrence you took a redshirt year last season after being considered one of the elite JUCO running backs. Did being forced to sit a year give you a chip on your shoulder leading to this offensive explosion in 2019?" "Coach told me going in that it was going to be Will Fuller's backfield for his senior year. At first I wasn't real happy about it, but it is what it is. In the end I think it was the right decision. It gave me time to finish my degree and to learn the playbook. I don't think I would have been as comfortable on the field if I just jumped right in last year." "There's been strong talk lately about your Heisman resume. What do you think about winning college football's most prestigious award, especially as a guy that had to go through the JUCO route?" "I would love to win the Heisman. There's probably been a lot of talk lately because no one knew much about me at the beginning of the season. It feels good to come in and make some waves. " "Thanks for the short interview with me Terrence. Before I leave do you have any shout outs to give?" "I want to give a shout out to all of my friends and family, and of to all of my coaches and teammates that got me where I am today. Thanks SageBow." Week #13 DPOTW DE Eric Jennings, ORE, 3 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 5 Tackles vs Stanford Big win for the Oregon Ducks as they beat PAC-12 North Rival Stanford in dominating fashion. Their star senior defensive end Eric Jennings was able to sit down with me for a quick interview after winning National Defensive Player of the Week. "Eric, thanks for taking the time to sit down with me for a quick interview. You and your fellow Oregon Dlinemen victimized Stanford's offensive line last week. How did it feel getting sacks over and over and over again?" "Felt great, always good to beat down a division rival like that. We just slid right through their line all night. Savage mode." "Heading into the draft, your stock had fallen slightly as other guys like Anthony Miller, Tyler Jones, and Dexter Flowers stay at the top of Scouts rating boards. Do you have any opinion on how you're being rated as you presumably prep to head for the NFL at the end of this season?" "I don't know why people are saying my draft stock is "falling". I've been shredding opposing defenses for 4 years at this point. Those other guys you've mentioned are great, but so am I. Regardless, whatever team drafts me is gonna get a hell of a player, I'll tell you that. I'll be playing on Sundays for a long time." "9-1 Oregon looks poised to play 8-1 USC for the PAC-12 Title at the end of the season. How do you feel about your chances against the Trojans knowing that the Ducks will likely be the underdog in Levi's Stadium?" "I think we learned a lot from our first game this season. They aren't invincible, they've lost the same amount of games we have. We're gonna have to do better in all three phases of the game this time. We'll be ready though, it's our year. Jason and Trevon have been doing a great job on offense, and Christian and I always stay eating. Look out for the Ducks baby!" "Well thanks for sitting down with me this week for an interview. Before I leave do you have any shout outs?" "Free Kodak" Many thanks to Duncan and Cade for their interviews. Best of luck to all the players next week! List of Past National Players of the Week

All Star 2016 Update (no one is an all-star edition) G Ladennifer Jadaniston- has started 24 games for Dubuque and has posted a superb 17-4-0 record for them with a 2.58 GAA and a .919 save percentage G Gregor Samsa- only appeared in 4 games for HC Zubr posting a 1-2-0 record and a 3.25 GAA but a respectable .902 save percentage. I dont know why they arent giving him more playing time LW Simo Hayha- has managed to stay healthy for 31 games this season but he's put up 19 points (10g, 9a) in those games, hes also still in the negatives for plus/minus at -11. Also he did get hurt again, this time with a bruised finger. Injuries are going to be the only thing that could slow down Hayha LW/RW Harold High Hrothgar- in 13 games for Nidaros has 22 points (11g,11a) which is 3rd in the league in scoring and tied for 2nd in goals, still has a +/- of 0 though LW Alexi Litenko- has played the most games of any of the players so far with 46 games played he has lit up the points sheet putting up 48 points (13g, 35a) good for a tie for third in points and first in assists. he seems to be more of a helper than a scorer though, but those are valuable. D Mondell Mondo- is still having a really surprising year hes only played in 14 games but hes still averaging over a point per game putting up 16 points (4g, 12a) it looks like he needs to get a little better on defense before hes complete though C Jadaprielle Bates- in 20 games played so far he has put up 33 points, averaging almost a goal per game (18g, 15a)... hes in third place for Goals in the NAHL look for him to move to the USHL next season RW Christopher-Jeffrey Beckham- played in 21 games and has 30 points (14g,16a) not good for any one statistical lead but a nice balance for a player who is a year younger than most of the other players in the USHL D Ville Heronen- has played in 37 games getting himself 28 points (5g, 23a) outstanding as an offensive defenseman... also has a +/- of +10 this guy should be a stud... had a shoulder bruise that cost him a few games as well D Brett Panzer- not fighting as much as I would have hoped, but that could just be USHL rules keeping him in check... he has 12 points (1g, 11a) in 19 games, and has 20 PIM, he needs to get that +/- up from 0 though LW/RW Clifton Ronzell- Nugget has stayed healthy this season, playing in 19 games putting up 25 points (14g, 11a) hopefully he keeps it up and stays on this track C Erkko Laakkonen- still scoring over a point per game but just barely, netting 39 points (15 g, 24a) in 38 games, not good enough for any spots in the top 3 but still very respectable. Also wearing #99 G Darnerian Sohn- still playing for Prince Albert, and has appeared in 41 games for them... raising his record to a winning one at 21-14-1 while also improving his GAA (if only slightly) to 3.30 and his save percentage to .883

    FHM 3 BaP Update Page

ok so we're about 2 weeks into the first season for the players and an interesting trend has emerged... all the american born players are unsigned (perhaps protecting college eligibility?) but almost all the foreign players are signed now so lets break it down G Ladennifer Jadaniston- unsigned, we'll see if he gets signed soon G Gregor "The Cockroach" Samsa- probably the most surprising unsigned player hes a superstar potential but hes sitting at home instead of suiting up for a team LW Simo "White Death" Hayha- with him we have our first signing, Hayha was signed to a 1 year, $2,000 contract by LeKi Lempaala of the Mestis league (2nd tier league in Finland), and not to disappoint his injury rating, he immediately got hurt 6 games into the year with back soreness... hopefully he can shake the injury bug, because his stats are somewhat promising from a 16 year old. In 6 games he has 1 Goal and 1 assist however he is also is -8 in +/- LW/RW Harold High Hrothgar- another unsigned player LW Alexi 'Lit' Litenko- our only Russian player signed with THL Tver of the Supreme Hockey League (Tier 2 Russian League) this is probably the best bargain contract ever for the team signing him for 1 year, $0. In his 16 games he has 6 goals and 10 assists with 10 penalty mintues and a +2. he also has a game winning goal D Mondell Mondo- also unsigned C Jadaprielle 'The Screamer' Bates- Unsigned as well RW Christopher-Jeffrey Beckham- unsigned D Ville 'The Villain' Heronen- signed by IK Oskarshamm in HockeyAllsvenskan (Tier 2 Sweden) for what I believe is the richest contract of any of the players, a 1 year, $40,000 deal. Hes posted a +2 rating and has 6 points in 12 games (1 g, 5 a) D Brett 'Bundy' Panzer- also unsigned, the americans should at least go play in the NAHL or something LW/RW Clifton 'Nugget' Ronzell- unsigned, but this might be the best for his health C Erkko Laakkonen- the players that matched Ville's big contract, also signing a 1 year, $40,000 deal with IK Pantern of HockeyAllsvenskan, he might be the breakout superstar in 11 games he has 13 points (5 g, 8 a) and 1 GWG, he'll need to get that +/- above a 1 but other than that hes looking good G Darnerien Sohn- the fact that hes playing and Samsa is sitting at home is surprising, to say the least. However, he did manage to get signed to a tryout contract with the Prince Albert Raiders of the World Hockey League (Canadian Major Junior), at 1 year, $0 (it is a tryout after all). He's played in 12 games so far and frankly he hasn't impressive in his starts, going 6-6-1 with a 3.84 GAA and an .858 save percentage, we will have to see if this leads to a long term deal for him

I love a nice combo running / short passes. I prefer running the ball and I love watching short yardage situations. It brings out the toughness and physical aspect of my team while making the opponent feel helpless. I will turn Houston into a more aggressive and physical team.

A ton of dropped passes, 3 dropped interceptions all in the red zone, a ton of blown coverages, just pretty awful in general. Justin Davis is possibly the best running QB I've ever seen in this game as every time he took off and run it was magic, sadly he's an awful QB. If Peyton Manning had a noodle arm, Justin Davis has a Foam Noodle Arm. 3 of the 4 interceptions were when one of our recievers was wide open and then by the time he got the ball there a CB had jumped the route. I'm gonna spend some time customizing a playbook before the next game, which might be up tomorrow or thursday.
