Week #13 OPOTW RB Terrence Rodgers, MSST, 25 carries for 127 yards, 3 TD vs Auburn (NG) Huge game out of arguably the most talented running back in the nation, Terrence Rodgers led the way to the Bulldog's big night game win over Auburn. He was able to sit down with SageBow for a quick interview. "Terrence, big win against Auburn last weekend. How were you able to get loose so many times against a stingy Tiger's defense?" "Hey, thanks SageBow. We watched a lot of film last week getting ready for the game. Coach liked the way we matched up with the defensive line and outside linebackers so we worked on lots of sweeps and off-tackle runs in practice. Auburn's been moving the ball really well in the second half of the season so we knew we had some work to do on offense in this game. In the end it worked out just like we drew it up." "Terrence you took a redshirt year last season after being considered one of the elite JUCO running backs. Did being forced to sit a year give you a chip on your shoulder leading to this offensive explosion in 2019?" "Coach told me going in that it was going to be Will Fuller's backfield for his senior year. At first I wasn't real happy about it, but it is what it is. In the end I think it was the right decision. It gave me time to finish my degree and to learn the playbook. I don't think I would have been as comfortable on the field if I just jumped right in last year." "There's been strong talk lately about your Heisman resume. What do you think about winning college football's most prestigious award, especially as a guy that had to go through the JUCO route?" "I would love to win the Heisman. There's probably been a lot of talk lately because no one knew much about me at the beginning of the season. It feels good to come in and make some waves. " "Thanks for the short interview with me Terrence. Before I leave do you have any shout outs to give?" "I want to give a shout out to all of my friends and family, and of to all of my coaches and teammates that got me where I am today. Thanks SageBow." Week #13 DPOTW DE Eric Jennings, ORE, 3 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 5 Tackles vs Stanford Big win for the Oregon Ducks as they beat PAC-12 North Rival Stanford in dominating fashion. Their star senior defensive end Eric Jennings was able to sit down with me for a quick interview after winning National Defensive Player of the Week. "Eric, thanks for taking the time to sit down with me for a quick interview. You and your fellow Oregon Dlinemen victimized Stanford's offensive line last week. How did it feel getting sacks over and over and over again?" "Felt great, always good to beat down a division rival like that. We just slid right through their line all night. Savage mode." "Heading into the draft, your stock had fallen slightly as other guys like Anthony Miller, Tyler Jones, and Dexter Flowers stay at the top of Scouts rating boards. Do you have any opinion on how you're being rated as you presumably prep to head for the NFL at the end of this season?" "I don't know why people are saying my draft stock is "falling". I've been shredding opposing defenses for 4 years at this point. Those other guys you've mentioned are great, but so am I. Regardless, whatever team drafts me is gonna get a hell of a player, I'll tell you that. I'll be playing on Sundays for a long time." "9-1 Oregon looks poised to play 8-1 USC for the PAC-12 Title at the end of the season. How do you feel about your chances against the Trojans knowing that the Ducks will likely be the underdog in Levi's Stadium?" "I think we learned a lot from our first game this season. They aren't invincible, they've lost the same amount of games we have. We're gonna have to do better in all three phases of the game this time. We'll be ready though, it's our year. Jason and Trevon have been doing a great job on offense, and Christian and I always stay eating. Look out for the Ducks baby!" "Well thanks for sitting down with me this week for an interview. Before I leave do you have any shout outs?" "Free Kodak" Many thanks to Duncan and Cade for their interviews. Best of luck to all the players next week! List of Past National Players of the Week

I love a nice combo running / short passes. I prefer running the ball and I love watching short yardage situations. It brings out the toughness and physical aspect of my team while making the opponent feel helpless. I will turn Houston into a more aggressive and physical team.

I mean you gotta keep the legend going. Him and JJ and Bernard and Ellis still hanging around from that first draft.

I've only been here a third of the site's time, but I've enjoyed every second of it. Here's to many more years!
