Texas A&M Aggies 2019 Record: (3-9) (1-6) Conference Finish: 6th in the SEC West Key Losses: RB Elias Butler 5-7 220 Sr East (Cheyenne WY) 4.0 of 4.0 [Power] TE Jack Whiting 6-3 217 Sr Mountain Pointe (Phoenix AZ) 4.0 of 4.0 [Blocking] OG Ahmed Dupree 6-5 265 Sr Big Lake (Big Lake MN) 4.0 of 4.0 [Pass Blocking] ILB Kaden Carmichael 6-2 234 Sr Lutcher (Lutcher LA) 3.5 of 3.5 [Mike] FS Samuel Prince 6-0 191 Sr Lincoln College (Lynx, IL) 4.5 of 4.5 [Man Coverage] SS Brandon Guillory 5-11 201 Sr Durant (Durant MS) 4.5 of 4.5 [Zone Coverage] Key Returners: QB Nathan Singletary 6-1 226 (Fr) South Grand Prarie (, TX) 2.5 of 4.5 [Scrambling] FB Felix Foy 6-1 257 (Fr) Ketchum (Ketchum, OK) 2.0 of 4.0 [Run Blocking] WR Jarvis Ward 5-9 189 (Jr) Brookhaven College (Farmers Branch TX) 4.5 of 5.0 [Speed] WR Lese Ponifasio 6-1 210 Sr Western Texas College (Snyder, TX) 4.0 of 4.0 [Target] DE Dariel Murillo 5-11 247 Sr Robert E. Lee (Baytown, TX) 4.0 of 4.0 [Blitz] DT Omar Grace 6-1 299 Sr Frankston (Frankston, TX) 4.0 of 4.0 [2-Gap] CB Julian Woods 5-11 168 Jr Johnson City (Johnson City, TX) 4.0 of 4.0 [Man Coverage] Strengths Receivers - The Aggies have weapons all over this receivers group, led by newcomer Jarvis Ward. Lese Ponifasio is a guy that all Aggies fans know, and don't forget about dangerous slot receiver Kristian Douglas tearing up the middle of the field. Even tight end Theodore Crowell is a weapon for Singletary, and his 6-4 frame will be a big asset in the red zone. Defensive Line - The defensive strength of the Aggies is their defensive front. Omar Grace and Anthony Hayes were both productive last season and should be a big piece in stuffing down opposing running games. Daniel Murillo should be one of the top sack artists in the SEC, bringing heat off the edge with lots of support around him. Weaknesses Quarterback - Quarterback play was an absolute wreck last season as no one was able to follow up the legacy of Matty Swift. Now comes the guy that may do it, Nathan Singletary. Will he click with Head Coach Sleuthofbears? What's his connection like with his offensive weapons like Jarvis Ward? Many unanswered questions so far at College Station. The Running Attack - Singletary is a threat to run, but can the likes of Kapueo Fepulea'i and Julian Harding keep defenses honest? They are both following up the Texas A&M all time leading rusher in Elias Butler, and despite the fact that Fepulea'i is a senior we have not seen much out of the expected Aggie starting running back. They'll need to perform well to take the burden off their freshman quarterback. Season Expectations: College Station fans are cautiously optimistic. Aggie football has been a roller coaster ride the past few seasons, but they're hoping for a bowl game. Season Prediction Best case scenario: 7-5, Aggies close out the season strongly with a big win against Arkansas to get them to a bowl game. Worst case scenario: 2-10, despite a lot of improvement from last season, the Aggies just cannot put it together, and Sleuth starts feeling the hot seat. Realistic prediction: 5-7. They narrowly miss out on a bowl game but the fan base is energized by the magic Singletary can put out on the field. Future looks bright!

Huh, lose 35-17 to the Jets and are 1-4, still move up 1 spot. Not bad

I know that you've got a young stud to replace him, but I just can't imagine Tennessee without Julius Thomas. He wasn't amazing or anything, but he's been the guy for what seems like forever now.
