Delay of Games

Only NFLHC games this week; only CFBHC games the following week; back to normal after that.

It Takes Two

It took two overtimes for Minnesota to top Illinois on a clinching run by RB Tredaveon Jennings.

Sometimes, It Be Ya Own Self

The Saints ruin their undefeated season by running trick plays, as punter Adonis Rosa throws an interception. You'd think people would have learned by now.

What Happens in Reno

Nevada upsets #6 Duke 17-13 by shutting down QB Bryce Thompson; true freshman Damon Goode had a pick for the Wolf Pack.

Cardiac Cards

The Cardinals were down 17-0 in the 4th quarter... and put up 21 points to win. WR Marcus Banks caught a 40-yard TD pass with a minute left to cap it.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - UTSA AD Lisa Campos opened today's press conference by apologizing to the fanbase for the long delay in announcing a decision that had long been made. Campos admitted that there was concern over exactly how to pronounce their new head coach's name, which was embarrassing considering the hispanic culture the campus is surrounded by. "We couldn't figure out if we needed to roll the 'R', you just never know," Campos admitted. Once that was out of the way, Campos introduced Coach mahrowkeen as the program's new Head Football Coach. From not too far down the road in Katy, Texas just outside of Houston, UTSA liked that their new coach would be familiar with recruiting landscape in the state. Despite the fact that they had no clue what they would get from him considering he had no prior experience recruiting or coaching. mahrowkeen was given an opportunity to address the fanbase. "I just want to start by thanking Dr. Campos for the opportunity. I am in the process of completing my Sports Management Degree online, and I have years of gameplan and recruiting experience through Madden and the, RIP, NCAA Franchise. Maybe they saw potential there," mahrowkeen shrugged, as surprised to be there as the media. "I also want to thank Coach LamboThrone for the work he put into this program. I have something great to work with between the current roster and the incoming class of croots. I've got big shoes to fill following a former Coach of the Year." Puzzled looks still covered the media member's faces. After a few moments of awkward silence and shrugs and everyone in the room looking to someone for a way forward, AD Campos stepped in, "Coach mahrowkeen will take any questions you guys have..."

Fargo, ND - The North Dakota State University athletic department would like to welcome new football head coach SolutionA. Coach SolutionA is the son of three-time NFL player ProblemA and nephew of former New Hampshire Fisher Cats great ProblemB. The new head coach comes from a long line athletic success and integrity and is committed to bringing success to a storied Bison football program. Prior to this role, Coach SolutionA has been a cattle herder and currently holds the world record for most 20 yard field goals made in one minute. Poking fun at the tireless joke, Coach SolutionA also mentioned that he hopes to bring more success to this team than the hit FX television show, Fargo. "I am extremely excited to be a part of this incredible football program. I had a meeting this morning with the players and I have not seen this much respect and talent in one locker room." This is Coach SolutionA's first coaching job. Coach SolutionA is now open for questions.

    1. Please list your email address and/or your reddit username at which you can be contacted. A: Sure! I can be reached at andrewpawelczak@gmail.com. I never bothered to make a reddit account, but I should in all honesty, considering how much I use it 2. Before continuing, please thoroughly read the coaching course and feel free to ask questions. Confirm that you have read the coaching course by writing "Confirmed" below. A: It seems a touch complicated, but I've re-read it a few times. Confirmed. (Although I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions regarding redshirting and the such!) 3. What team do you want to coach? A: Preferably the South Alabama Jaguars. If not them, then either the UNLV Rebels or the San Jose State Spartans. 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. A: If not them, then either the UNLV Rebels or the San Jose State Spartans. 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. A: Well hello! I'm Andrew, I'm 22 and I've graduated from Rutgers with a B.S in Finance. I work at Amazon, or well, I did, until I had a seizure at work there. Currently I'm on disability, waiting a few months before I can head back to work. (Seriously, Amazon sucks.) I'm from New Jersey, and I have a lot of experience with Sim games.I have around 2000 hours on Football Manager 2015, and I love bringing teams up from the lowest divisions to the top. I think I can bring a lot to the table with my sim experience. 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? A: All of my time is free now, since I'm on disability But When work starts back up I'll have 3 days to be free and make appropriate changes. 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. A: I'm a Jets fan If I can handle them losing and breaking my heart every season, I can definitely handle getting crushed 88-0 by Alabama. Also from my experience from FM, it takes a while to get from where you are to where you want to be, especially as a lower league team. 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. A: I was browsing through sim stuff when I saw a comment you posted on a user asking about Blood Bowl College Football. It's such a small world. <3

Minnesota? Wow, all the way down here. Thank you, and great question Mr. Bongo. I loved you in Inside Out by the way. I mean, you actually made a radio flyer fly. You really saved the day... Recruiting, yes, nothing is more important. Like I said, the previous coach left me with a great product to start with. I intend to build on that. I hear games are won in the trenches? Maybe we’ll take a look there. Special teams are a strong point here that maybe we can make a tradition. As far as dealing with Texas, I’ve got my work cut out for me. I intend on exhausting my resources until I can compete with the Rice’s and TCU’s of the world. For now, we’ll focus on bringing in players that will make an impact in all facets of the game.
