    1. Week 6 PAC-12 Preview

With more than half of the PAC-12 teams on a bye this week there are only 2 conference games and 1 non-conference match up on the schedule. Both conference games will take place in Saturday night prime time with all 3 remaining undefeated teams in action. Undefeated Oregon State visits Washington while undefeateds square off in Tucson as Utah visits Arizona. Washington looks to get back on track after back to back road losses at Oregon and Arizona. The Huskies will need a strong performance by QB Jake Davis to out dual Oregon State’s dual threat QB Julian Ralph. This is Oregon State’s toughest road test so far and with Washington needing a win look for the Huskies to win a close one and hand the Beavers their first loss 23-20. For the Utes to win they are going to need SR QB Donald Culver to step up big against the talented Wildcat defense. Arizona will rely on a balanced attack with QB Sam Parish and RB Shane Strong leading the way. Culver has been outstanding this season but Arizona has home field advantage and pulls out a close win 24-20. The UCLA Bruins will look to get back to .500 this week as the Eastern Washington Eagles visit the Rose Bowl. We expect the Bruins to get the job done and move to 2-2.
    2. Agreed - but after scouting the Utes this week they do have a solid squad with a 5 star QB. Definitely not expecting an easy win on Saturday.
    3. With the first quarter of the season in the books here are my early predictions and odds for PAC-12 individual season awards. Offensive POY: Donald Culver – (SR) QB Utah Culver has helped lead the Utes to a 3-0 start by throwing 10 TD passes to only 1 INT, both best in the PAC-12. He is #1 in completion percentage (68.1%) and #2 in yards per game (321.3). The Utes will need Culver to continue his level of performance to challenge for the PAC-12 crown. Current odds: 2-1 Trevon Yeldon – (JR) RB Oregon Yeldon has been dominate through 3 games averaging a conference best 179.3 rushing yards per game. He is #1 in yards per carry at 7.47 (min 15 carries) and tied for #1 in rushing TDs with 5. He also has 2 receiving TDs. As the focal point of the Oregon offense he should continue to put up monster numbers for the remainder of the season. Current odds: 2-1 Jay Arreola – (JR) WR UCLA Arreola leads the PAC-12 in catches (23), receiving TDs (4), and receiving yards per game (115.0). In UCLA’s pass friendly offense Arreola should continue to see the ball thrown his way the rest of the season. Current odds: 8-1 Offensive FOY: Bradley Hassan – (FR) QB Washington State Hassan has thrown for 266.3 yards per game with 8 TDs and only 2 INTs with the highest yards per attempt (9.63) in the conference. Current odds: 2-1 Israel Carlson – (FR) RB Arizona State Carlson has rushed for 140 yards per game and is tied with Yeldon for the most rushing TDs with 5. Current odds: 2-1 Defensive POY: DeSean Barkley – (JR) CB Colorado Barkley currently leads the PAC-12 with 4 interceptions through his first 3 games. No other conference player has more than 1 interception. Current odds: 2-1 Henry Negron - (JR) DE Washington State Negron ranks 3rd in tackles (20), tied for first in tackles for loss (3) and tied for 4th in sacks (3.5). Current odds: 3-1 Travis Napier – (JR) DE Colorado Napier makes the list as the PAC-12 leader in sacks with 4.5. He also has tallied 10 tackles and 1 tackle for loss. Current odds: 5-1 Defensive FOY: Adam Gibson - FR DT California Gibson has compiled 3 sacks, 9 tackles, and 2 tackles for loss through his first 3 games. Current odds: 3-1 Alpha Goldman – (FR) DT Arizona State Goldman has compiled 2 sacks, 9 tackles, and 1 tackles for loss through his first 2 games. Current odds: 4-1 Special Teams POY: Sam Walsh - (SR) K California Walsh has made 9 of 9 extra points and 7 of 7 field goal attempts, including a long of 54 yards. He is currently the only PAC-12 kicker with made field goals of more than 50 yards (2 of 2). Current odds: 3-2 Jamari Turner - (SR) CB Oregon State Turner currently leads the PAC-12 with 2 punt return TDs. Current odds: 5-1 Coach of the Year Jim Henson - Oregon State Current odds: 4-1 owensr37 - Utah Current odds: 5-1 Franz Kafka - Colorado Current odds: 6-1 With all three coaches having their teams of to a 3-0 start, we would give a slight edge to coach Jim Henson right with the job he has done at Oregon State.
    4. [2021] Week #3 - Saturday Afternoon

Ha. I was moving in that direction anyway. Tried giving Parish some extra attempts early to see what the offense would do but wasn't really happy with the results.
    5. [2021] Week #3 - Saturday Afternoon

Agreed - updated game plan for week 4 and Strong represents with 129 yds and 1 TD.
    6. [2021] Week #4 - Saturday Afternoon

Looks like Culver making up for last season
    7. [2021] Week #3 - Saturday Afternoon

gg JBax. Happy to hold you to 21 pt and get the win against your high powered offense. Pretty sure we gave up 41 last season against you.
