When did he transfer? I'm real confused. He is on the information I pulled off when I got the job and made my depth chart, I don't see him now though:

@Soluna I must of screwed up a copy and paste. I thought Justice was my QB, the juco guy who redshirted. I need to get to my spreadsheet; but I’m out at the moment.

    Last Chance U: Season 3 - Indy

Buddy got those rings though and he put all those kids back where they wanted to be. Plus, EMCC is close to home for me so therefore.. Buddy > Coach Compton

    That coach is the worst.
  11. @Duncan345, I would advise you to just wait until a cold day next fall and find out for yourself. We will be bringing back the Golden Egg to its rightful home in Oxford, MS.
  12. I believe, whatever state we’re in, whatever school you are at, whatever situation you’re in in life or football, the one thing we have equal at Ole Miss with Alabama, LSU, or whoever – the only thing we have equal is time. You can look at budgets, you can look at resources, you can look at facilities, you can look at coaching experience, at whatever you want, but the only thing we have that’s guaranteed to be equal with those other schools and people we’ll play next year is time. So how do we take advantage of that is to make the most out of today. So everyday we are going to go out there and “Win the Day”. Secondly, It is very important that we make things happen here at Ole Miss. I want to talk about our vision. Three things I have to know is exactly what "it" is. I met with our team today and they were glued in. They understand where we are. Here very shortly when you walk into our offensive meeting room and you ask them what our "it" is, it will be to be a fundamentally efficient scoring machine. When you walk into our defensive room every one of them will say that "it" is to relentlessly pursue the football and to knock the ever-loving stink out of their opponents. That will be our "it". Our special teams "it" will be to provide the winning edge. When you talk about recruiting our coaches will clearly understand that we are establishing dynamic relationships with everyone that is involved in our decision making process. We will win a championship. We have to win the state in recruiting and it will start with great coaches. To the Rebel nation the "it" is really simple. We have to be united as one. I understand where things are. I told our team today that we understand that we are in the wilderness and we have to realize why we are here and how we are going to get out.
  13. OXFORD, Miss. -- HughFreeze$$ choked up less than a minute after being introduced as Mississippi's new football coach, acknowledging his two dogs sitting on the stage behind him. "I've taken them all around the country to bring them back to one place," an emotional HughFreeze$$ said. "And that's the University of Mississippi." HughFreeze$$, 32, was named Ole Miss's 8th football coach on Monday afternoon at a press conference on the university campus. He takes over for @vida, who stepped down during one of the worst seasons in Ole Miss history. The Rebels finished with a 2-10 record, including a 0-8 mark in the Southeastern Conference. HughFreeze$$ could be a considered a risky hire considering his relative lack of experience. When Ole Miss started its search, names like Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach were on the market, but the Rebels went with someone who's coached on the college level for less than a year. HughFreeze$$, however, has capitalized on that short window of opportunity. He comes to the Rebels from Kentucky, where he led the Wildcats to a 5-7 record in his first season as a coach at the CFBHC level, including winning its final 3 games of the season. It was Kentucky's best season since 2017 under @cmcgill. HughFreeze$$ attacked his opening press conference like a Baptist preacher, galvanizing the packed Ford Center with an emotional address peppered with jokes and jabs that included the occasional remark about dominating the state of Mississippi -- a not-so-subtle jab at Mississippi State and coach @Duncan345. While @vida never completely seemed to grasp the state's culture -- especially the Egg Bowl rivalry – HughFreeze$$ jumped into the fray unabashedly. He went to high school less than 150 miles away in Jackson, Mississippi and is also an Ole Miss graduate. "This is home to me," HughFreeze$$ said. "This is a destination job." He's known for a high-powered offensive philosophy, that he called a "fundamentally efficient scoring machine" when it's going well. The Ole Miss coaching search was led by a one-person committee, of current SEC Commissioner @serwendel. Serwendel said HughFreeze$$'s combination of innovative offensive thinking, recruiting ability and communicating skills made him the obvious choice. "Once we completed our interviews, our No. 1 choice was crystal clear," serwendell said. "Our No. 1 choice was HughFreeze$$." Serwendel said HughFreeze$$'s lack of experience wasn't a huge factor: "He's someone coming up, doing it the right way and doing it with success. We think we're jumping the gun and getting an outstanding coach." Ole Miss hasn't had much success lately, going 0-8 in the SEC during the last season, but that didn't deter HughFreeze$$ from expecting immediate success. "These men are tired of being in the wilderness and they want to get out," HughFreeze$$ said.
