    [2022] Week #1 - TNF

Coach to coach, I really appreciate the coach-speak here instead of saying the truth, which is that y'all molly whopped us. Sullivan had a hell of a game, that stat line is surgical.

    New Mexico State Job

I'm not sure who the Independents commissioner is, but I was wondering if someone could go ahead and confirm me for the New Mexico State job. I posted a little under a week ago and still haven't gotten a response, even though I got added to the interface as the NMSU head coach already. At first I assumed that meant I had been given the job, but it was brought to my attention that I need to be confirmed by a commissioner first.
  4. LAS CRUCES, NM - It's a new day in Las Cruces. New Mexico State athletic director Mario Moccia announced Saturday that Coach Wolfie10 will be taking the reigns of the program after the departure of NMSU coaching legend Jamarquan (1-11) to Arkansas. "We're excited to have Coach Wolfie on board and we look forward to him restoring the Aggies to their rightful spot as the team most people forget are still in the Football Bowl Division," stated Moccia. Coach Wolfie10 comes to the Aggies with limited coaching experience. He comes to NMSU after a three-year stint as the offensive line coach for the neighboring Oñate High School Knights. A D-3 All-American center at Guilford College, Wolfie continued his pro football dream as a long snapper for the Edmonton Eskimos. After a hyper-extended left knee forced him into his retirement, he took a soul quest in the New Mexico desert that eventually led him back to the game he loved. Oñate High School head coach Scott Feliz had this to say about his former understudy: "Seemed alright enough, I guess." Coach Wolfies opening comments: "First off, I'd like to thank Director Moccia for putting his faith in me. I couldn't be more excited to get started here in Las Cruces and compete for *checks notes* Independents conference trophies. Coach Jamarquan did a great job on the recruiting trail and I think that there's a lot to work with here. We're gonna be a blue-collar team; nobody will outwork us. I think that we can build something truly special here. At this time, I'll take any questions from the media."

I turned into a State fan once I went there for undergrad, but Duke football will always have a place in my heart. I still own a Carl Franks signed football and I remember when we used to play State in the Phillip Rivers days that almost the entire stadium would be red. They've come such a long way, Cutcliffe is the GOAT.

    [2018] Week 3 IRL Discussion

Losing Jones for the season is #rough. Looked like Duke could have had a great year, too.

NC State: Honestly feel like they dodged a bullet getting the WVU game canceled. The homer in me wants to believe they win that game, but our secondary what have gotten torched by Grier. I say they finish the year 8-3 or 7-4.

    Introductions

What's up, my name's Ben and I'm a first-year law student at Northeastern University in Boston. I grew up in the boonies of North Carolina, but spent the last five years or so in Raleigh for college. I'm an NC State grad and a huge Pack fan, which really just involves a lot of pain and misguided optimism.

    1. Please list your email address and/or your reddit username at which you can be contacted. heffner.w@husky.neu.edu 2. Before continuing, please thoroughly read the coaching course and feel free to ask questions. Confirm that you have read the coaching course by writing "Confirmed" below. Confirmed 3. What team do you want to coach? New Mexico State Aggies 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. Georgia State Panthers Harvard Crimson 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. I'm 23 and starting law school in a new city (Boston). I grew up in NC and went to NC State in undergrad. I grew up an absolute college sports fanatic and have been looking for a new way to express that passion and this seems like a great place for that! 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? Typically have an hour or two at night, a little bit more on weekends. Law school can be time-consuming, so I won't act like I'd be on here for hours every day. 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. My dad went to Duke and has had season tickets for his entire life. I grew up watching them when they were the joke of the NCAA. Your boy can handle losing haha. 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. N/A
