  1. Where are these considerations listed?
  2. Having weekly games on both ABC and FOX will add an instant sense of credibility to the league. Getting ESPN on board is huge too, because like it or not, they still control what is and isn’t talked about in the world of sports. In terms of exposure, they have hit it out of the park. Now they just need to capitalize.

  4. What are ya’lls thoughts on UMass?
  5. Georgia State is the school I came in here to mention. They’re from a massive market, they have a billion dollar endowment, and 50,000+ students. I think the potential is there for something special, Also, I don’t think Army would be interested. They turned down conference overatures during the last expansion wave over fear of competitive imbalance. They’ve been in conferences in the past, and have struggled. Now that they’re winning again, and they see Navy struggling (which may serve as confirmation bias), I think they’ll stay put,
  6. I’ve always craved spring football, and will follow whatever league attempts to fill the void. I too was a huge AAF fan, and though I’m a bit leery about McMahon, the XFL will be getting my full support. There’s no real team in my area, but I can come up with reasons to get behind any of them (except maybe Tampa). I think overall team brand will be play a huge role in who I follow. Also, I’m super impressed by the league’s tv deal. Far and away better than the AAF, so that gives me hope.
  7. Just want to say, your signature is so badass. As an ISU grad, it's getting me hyped for the rl football season!!
  8. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The post Elijah McManus era officially kicks off in Lexington on Friday as Kentucky's Blue and White teams square off in the annual spring game. Here are three key questions we'll be looking to answer during this game: #1. Who replaces McManus at QB? All signs out of spring point to the competition being neck between Junior QBs Shamar Collins and Zachary Masters. Each QB has a unique skill set, with Zachary Masters operating best when slinging the ball from the pocket, and Collins, who is most comfortable making plays with his feet. According to Coach Bastiat, the race may come down to who the team rallies around as their leader off the field. All eyes will be watching to see if either one can grab the reigns of the job on Friday. #2. Who wins the battle in the trenches? Junior NT Russel Corbin is a force to be reckoned with. Many are expecting him to be an ALL-SEC caliber performer this season. The offensive line will once again be anchored by Senior center Ayden Renteria, but guard play remains a concern for a coach that believes games are won and lost in the trenches. Squaring off against Corbin should provide a good idea on how ready the interior line is to face SEC caliber defenses. #3. What will the team look like under new Head Coach, Bastiat? When asked at his introductory press conference to describe how the team will look on Saturdays, Bastiat said, "We'll strive to play smart, to play tough, and to have more fun than any other team we compete against. I believe that when a team plays with passion, it creates a contagious positive energy that will help us win football games. We will try to make Kroger field a magical place to play." How that magic will manifest itself in the spring game remains to be seen.

Haha! Glad to see I’m not alone in that interest. His parable of the broken window should be required reading in every high school.

What team do you want to coach? Kentucky Wildcats 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. Akron Zips Kent State Golden Flashes 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. I’m a 26 year old graduate of Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). I am currently living in Wisconsin, where I work as a Motorcycle Insurance Sales Agent. I would be a good fit here because of my easy going demeanor and my passion for college football. I just can’t get enough of the sport. 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? I get about 7 hours per week to myself. 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. I can handle losing. I’ll strive to take each loss as a learning experience. 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. I googled college football simulations, and found this one discussed on reddit. After applying for a position, that conference's commissioner will send you one or two easy questions to verify that you have read the coaching course and possess a basic knowledge to how the game works. Once you've completed all these steps, you will be approved to join CFBHC! Failure to fill out your application in the guidelines set out above will result in your application being denied
