  3. January 27th - The Indiana Hoosiers hired a new head coach today to replace Wrigleyfan who successfully applied for the head coaching position at the University of Arizona. The AD quickly moved to hire his replacement and chose to bring back LDYo who previously coached the Hoosiers in the 2014 season. The University of Indiana would like to thank Wrigleyfan for his dedicated work in the 2019 season, bringing in a solid recruiting class and guiding the Hoosiers to the Birmingham Bowl which they were unfortunate to lose. He will leave the school with our best wishes and we hope he has a successful career at Arizona. We look forward to our future under coach LDYo who gave the following statement: "It's an absolute honour to be back at this fantastic institution. Indiana has always been close to my heart and there were many things I missed whilst coaching down south with the Tennessee Volunteers. I recently had a leave of absence and upon my return I saw that the head coaching position was open at IU, I was quick to enquire about the position because of my fond memories and the excellent time I had here. I now look forward to the future with Indiana, I've met the coaching staff and have contacted a number of our players including upcoming seniors, I have also contacted our incoming recruiting class to reassure them of their commitments to this fantastic school. I look forward to meeting all of our players formally and starting this new adventure together, spring practice will be a great time to develop our identity and assess the team. It's great to back at Indiana and back in the big ten, go Hoosiers" The floor is open for questions
  4. I see you're referring to the typo on our statement. For being a smartarse you get no questions, YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY SIR! But srsly the floor is open to questions

  6. 1. Please list your email address and/or your reddit username at which you can be contacted. cfbhcldyo@gmail.com 2. Before continuing, please thoroughly read the coaching course and feel free to ask questions. Confirm that you have read the coaching course by writing "Confirmed" below. Confirmed 3. What team do you want to coach? Indiana Hoosiers (If wrigleyfan decides to leave) 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. Northern illinois Hooskies Central Michigan Chippewas 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. 25 year old from England who's been around the site for some time. I'm a New York Jets, Minnesota Wild and Leeds United fan, in CFB I've adopted the Indiana Hoosiers and Tennessee Volunteers as the teams I follow, having been coach for both of them in the past. I was last in post at L.A. Tech and as owner of the Cardinals but unfortunately had to take a break due to personal circumstances, with everything sorted now I'm looking forward to hopefully getting back into coaching. I've always really enjoyed my time on the site and it's fantastic to see it as healthy as ever. 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? At the minimum i'll have enough time to make sure I've completed my weekly duties. My free time during the week varies greatly but I can ensure i'll be active in the sim and socially in the shoutbox and forums when I have the chance. 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. I don't think of myself as a great coach, I've lost games in the past that should have probably been slam dunks and probably had most of my fun as a coach when I went 4-8 with the Indiana Hoosiers. Also Leeds United and the Jets have provided me with years of disappointment and sadness, losing isn't anything new to me and you won't find me leaving because of it. 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. A post on Reddit by Neovenator long ago and from the African Mangrove Crabs. 9. Down with Purdue? Yes
  7. Great game Oakland.

  11. In WW1 over 1000 men at an average age of 20-21 voluntarily joined the Leeds Pals regiment (Men who enlisted together so they could fight alongside friends, neighbours and local men) On the first day of the battle of the Somme the Leeds Pals advanced to the village of Serre, they "went over the top" at Zero hour (7.30am) and within 10 minutes 250 men had been killed with over another 250 sustaining serious casualties, none of them made it past the defending forces barricade. At the end of the first day 20,000 British men had been killed in the battle of the Somme and 140 days of fighting followed this tragic day. Only 47 of the Leeds pals remained uninjured, 750 of the 900 Leeds Pals regiment lost their lives in the battle of the Somme. Lest We Forget Here's to all those who've lost their lives hoping for and fighting for peace. Their sacrifices have helped afford us the liberty we have today.
  12. Jarius did everything he could. I've no doubt Randy and Ted will turn Arizona into a contender before long
