  1. The Rainforest Cafe Mountain West Player of the week wasnt even close this week. Offensive Player of the Week: While the MWC had some good performances this week but one player stood out. Sometimes it easy to over look an easy opponent. This week though Nico Kaufman had no problem showing up and performing at a top notch level. Nico Kaufman went 19 of 24 for 260 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT. Add to that a rushing stat line of 9 for 109 yards, 1 TD and it leads you to yet another gift card! Nico got his gift card this week. "Oh good God" Nico said "My girlfriend is so effing tired of the damn volcano cake." Defensive Player of the Week: Coaches preach protecting the ball and they also preach forcing the other team to turn the ball over. This week one man forced had an INT as well as a large tackle total. The gift card this week goes to Shamar Sutton. "I cant wait to go eat some cheap food!" he said "Can I buy some animals from the fish tank?" Tune in next week when the guy who is better at this returns and actually makes you laugh
  2. I agree Dacder. I apologize for the oversight. Im just subbing in. Sorry man!

Youngblood, HAW, 19 of 26 for 237 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT Shamar Sutton, AF, 1 INT, 6 Tackles Da'Quan Darden, NEV, 1 Sack, 5 Tackles Mekhi Bellamy, SDSU, 8 Tackles
  4. The Houston Cougars. It smy Alma Mater. I was head of the spirit organization on campus. Ive taken a lot of road trips and spent a ton of money to watch them. I live 4 hours away and still have season tickets. Plus I have an massive hatred of SMU so I feel ill fit in perfectly in the AAC here as well. I do like UNLV and the UH job will probably be the only one I leave for
  5. But as you know going 2-0 will get you higher. You may finish lower but right now id have to say youre a top 3 team. While I think Boise is going to be fine an 0-2 start should be worrying
  6. First win!!!
  7. Lets start off with saying I am never happy with a loss. That being said I did see somethings that I am happy with. Our kicker kicked well. He accounted for all of scoring this week. It wasnt enough but overall its tough to be upset with him. I did like that we seemed to limit penalties. It seems penalties are being called more and more this year so to see my team walk out with only 5 penalties is great. Any time you can force an opposing QB into throwing one to the wrong team you are doing something right Hell we held another team to 10 points. You should be able to pull off most games you do that I also saw somethings that I think we need to change We got to get better than 6 yards per attempt out of our QB Id like to see us not fall behind so that we can focus on running the ball and playing the type of football we want to We have to score more than 9 Our red zone offense was abysmal. We had a FG of 28 yards. Unacceptable. If we convert one of those to 7 rather than the three we may squeak out of New Jersey with a win over a p5 school. The floor is now open to questions...
  8. Will somebody get this man a job!
  9. Good lord its gonna be a tough first year
  10. Goals for year one: Finish top 100
  11. The University of Nevada-Las Vegas is pleased to announce its second coach hiring in 3 weeks. It seems the last coach was on board but realized this job wasnt where he wanted to be. The Rebels are proud to announce the hiring of a new Head Coach who wil hopefully lead the Rebels to prominence in the Mountain West. Please welcome Coach Numberonecoog to the Rebel Family! " I am very pleased for this opportunity. I have been waiting around for a job to open up so I can show off my coaching skills. I have been watching this UNLV team for a while and cant wait to get my hands on it. There will be a few things you can expect from UNLV football from here on out. 1) We will play fast 2) We will play tough 3) We will play smart I HATE bad football. i hate watching it and so do our fans. We will do the little things right. Thats how you win games. Low penalties and turnovers. I have set a prelimiinary depth chart based on my outside observations. With that being said all jobs are open. I will gladly start a Sophomore over a Senior. I want the best on the field. If you think you deserve more PT then earn it." Coach Numberonecoog is now available for questions
  12. Can I join in the avatar fun with my UNLV avatar?

What team do you want to coach? UNLV 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. Anyone!!! 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. I am an avid follower of college athletics. I live in Dallas and sell sporting goods for a living. I love what I do. After work I go play golf or chill with my wife. 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? Including weekends 25-30. I will also fully admit I did this before and totally forgot about it. After I joined my wife got a job offer in a different city and we began moving. When that started it became a struggle to do anything except that. Life is much more stable now. I also found it hard to get things accomplished but since leaving and now coming back it seems much more organized and interactive 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. Look I am a University of Houston fan. Losing is just part of it. I will only appreciate it though if it is soul crushing (S.Miss 2011, UTSA 2012 etc) 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. Reddit
