The true freshman tore his ACL on a non-contact play after the first few plays as starting wide receiver. Cornerback Shaun Davis or Tight End Jaime Bautista will be the Jayhawks' second receiver. He will have season-ending surgery, and Abraham Kent will be starting next week. OG Trevor York - Moderate Wrist Fracture After blocking a defensive tackle using a swim move, York realized his hand wasn't moving properly. He had surgery after the game, and will have a cast on until Week 11. He is expected to be probable by Week 14, and fully healed by the conference championship week. WR Franklin Pineda - Moderate Foot Fracture Like Kansas, Pittsburgh cannot afford to have receivers injured. Pineda's foot was rolled over by an offensive lineman, breaking it instantly. He will be out until Week 9, where he will be probable. Team doctors said he should be back at 100% by Week 15.
