    [2023] Week #2 - TNF

GG, happy to play against guys I recruited there and I think you’ll have them competing in the SEC real soon. Good luck the rest of the season.

No, we really needed these first two for a shot at bowl eligibility. But the young guys are getting experience and that was most important to me this season. Hopefully the losses now can lead to wins in the future

    [2023] Week #1 - FNF

Tough loss but it’s a good learning experience. We’ve got good guys but we’re very young and inexperienced. Hopefully throwing them into the fire this year, while there’s not too much pressure to win, will lead to growth that can help us make a run for the ACC in the next few year.
  4. Law school is tough. Having a baby is tough. Both at the same time is tough. Our first kid was born April 25th and finals started May 6th. It was difficult trying to juggle both and while my grades weren't bad they weren't what I expected of myself. I also forgot Mother's Day, which my wife (understandably) did not appreciate. I'm currently doing a judicial internship and while it will look good on my resume, It's not what I hoped for. I barely interact with the judge or the other interns. It's weird, I spend my time at home looking forward to the peace and quiet at my job, but I spend my time at my job wishing I was back home with the baby. He's started to smile and laugh and it makes me forget all of my problems in the moment. But when I'm up feeding him at 2AM it makes me wonder why we did this. I'm someone who needs alone time to regroup and de-stress but I don't feel like I can do that anymore and leave my wife to take care of the baby by herself when I'm home, considering that's what she does all day. I'm also having a tough time figuring out what type of law I want to practice. My friends are already set on public interest or big law and I'm just trying to keep my head afloat and finish school. Honestly, all I know at this point is I want to be a good dad, and I'm terrified that I'll fail, and I'm letting that stress bleed into all aspects of my life. The wife is taking our kid down to her parents in a few weeks and I feel like I just need to get to that point and I can get some rest, re-group and hopefully feel better about everything.
  5. It's been an interesting few years, but my watch has ended. When I took over the Bengals, i wanted to turn them from a meme into a team of winners. Last year, solely through the incredible coaching ability of Lambo,we made the playoffs. Hopes were high, but this offseason has turned sour and this team is back in meme territory. With a busy schedule and an 8-week old baby, I cannot dedicate myself to both Georgia Tech and be the sole member of the Bengals. I have done it before and it brought me more stress than enjoyment, which is the main reason I come to the site. Instead, I have decided to focus my time here solely on Georgia Tech and getting back the fun this site used to bring me. I wish luck to whoever inherits the Bengals and I bid farewell to this team and this city.

Before continuing, please thoroughly read the coaching course and feel free to ask questions. Confirm that you have read the coaching course by writing "Confirmed" below. Confirmed 3. What team do you want to coach? Georgia Tech 4. Please select two backup teams (in descending order of preference) in case your first choice is unavailable. Stay at Army 5. In three or more sentences, tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, what do you do, where are you from, why would you be a good fit here, etc. I'm now 31, just finished my first year of law school, and just had a baby on April 25th. I also have three cats with Harry Potter-themed names. I currently live in NYC and am happy to be back up north after a decade in Alabama. I think I would be a good fit here because I've been here for years and can't say there have been any issues so far. 6. This site can be as time consuming as you want it to be. Weekly duties can be completed in 30 minutes or less, however interacting with your fellow players throughout the week makes it more enjoyable for most people. Approximately, how much free time do you have during a typical week? I'll probably have at least ten hours a week now. I'm constantly on and off the site throughout the day, and can spend a good bit of time here on the weekends. 7. Losing games is an inevitable reality on this site, especially when accepting newer teams. Do you believe you can handle losing? Disappointment is expected, however we have had issues with people freaking out, and even leaving the site because of losing. Yeah, I've lost a good bit over the years and I'm still here. 8. How did you find out about this site? If recommended by a friend, please post his/her username. Post on Reddit years ago
