  1. A lot of green this week in the uniforms.
  2. Same here. My only fear with him is throwing him in too early. I don't know if rushing him out there would ruin any chance of future success.
  3. Yeah, he's just not cutting it and his last two games are just plain bad. Granted it's not entirely his fault but these are not starting QB numbers. 18/36 180 yards 0 TD 1INT - vs IND 22/45 204 yards 0 TD 2 INT - vs LV
  4. STEELERS WON’T COMMIT TO NORRIS BROOKSHEER AS STARTING QB Following yet another brutal performance in a home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, those around Steelers Nation continue to call for the Pittsburgh Steelers to bench Norris Brooksheer. For some reason, the team has been reluctant to make a change as he continues to perform as one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league. From a pure football standpoint, this looks like an easy decision. Brooksheer ranks 30th in starting quarterbacks in completion percentage (55.69%) only ahead of Cleveland's Jordan North and Denver's Troy McMurray. He's 29th in quarterback rating (78.13) only ahead of North, McMurray and Atlanta's Donald Culver. He's among the league leaders with 9 interceptions. In talking to the media following his team’s 14-10 loss to the Raiders, GM @joedchileft open the possibility of a change. "We need to do something, we're trying to evaluate what we're doing and how we're functioning as an offense," said joedchi. "We're running out of time being 3 games back of Baltimore. Maybe one of the other guys can give us a spark. I have complete confidence in head coach @TuscanSota's ability and I've instructed him to open the competition to Weston and Jefferson." While Kyle Jefferson is still raw and may not yet be ready yet he will get a look. Rory Weston on the other hand has starting experience as he went 1-1 filling in for an injured Brooksheer last year. The offense put up 24 points in both games with Weston and he seemed to have a connection with top receiver Ja'Wuan Howard. A decision is not expected to be made before the weekend in preparation of Monday Night's game against Jacksonville.
  5. Raiders vs Steelers - Looks like Matt Fisk is missing 2 XPs. http://cfbhc.com/index.php?/topic/28439-2023-week-10-1-pm/&tab=comments#comment-294671
