I've only spent more than 40 points once, on Bowman and I constantly get people like this so speak for yourself.

Your subregion is terrified of you.  Only explanation I have.  You should have had a lot more competiton for those top guys.

I'll be damned if 40 points takes a guy like that in GP.

It just varies by region man. Most of the regions you don't need 70 to claim a person. You might just be in the worst one. Points that high are not common at all. 70+ has only been done 8 times in the last 3 years I think.

I could be estimating high because the expensive croots get talked about a lot, but the steals are usually kept hush hush.

I'll trend a couple of them downward though, as I'm sure you're right (and have the data to back it up)

How many of those 8 were on Raheem?

I know that one was Hamilton, one was Sean Bell, 3 were on Kyle Davidson, beyond that IDK.

I know AJ Jefferson went for under 70 but only b/c it was the first year of recruiting.

I've lost two recruits after putting 70+ points in round 1. Apparently, I have no idea what I'm doing.

(10-3 this season...)

I've only dropped 40+ 3 times and twice was in the same year.

Blaine goes to the closest high school in the sim to where I went

Definitely picking him up now :)

Too bad the sample pic doesn't have the Toreadores name and logo, but I understand that not being available.

Wait, is it normal for someone to put +40 points on recruit each season?

I put 140 on Sean Hamilton.  I think the next most I've spent on a single recruit is 30.  But I dont usually go after the top guys.
