NFLHC Staff Bidding Rules

Recommended Posts

To hire a coordinator please post a thread with their designation and name as the title, for example "OC Jason Garrett".

In the post you will post the salary they want and how many years you are offering, as follows:

  • OC Jason Garrett
  • $3,500,000 per year
  • 2 Years

If someone wishes to up their bid they will need to either: a) increase the yearly salary by 10% or b ) add a year to the contract length.

If the above post was the Cowboys offer for Jason Garrett, you could respond to the thread by posting the following comment:

  • OC Jason Garrett
  • $3,500,000 per year
  • 3 Years

If no one responds to your thread for 24 hours you have hired that coordinator. If you want to offer a coordinator a head coaching position they will only consider other head coaching positions and will take the HC offer over any coordinator position.

Minimum contract offer for each coordinator is their request from the coordinator threads. Coordinators will be added to the new 2020 depth chart post when that is created.

Questions or clarifications can be asked in this thread. Bidding is now open. Mods may lock threads after the coordinator has been signed.

Can you go backwards in years if you go upwards in salary? Or is it once they have been offered x years, they won't take less than that number of years no matter what your bid?

For example if someone bid:

OC Jason Garrett
$3,500,000 per year
4 Years

would

OC Jason Garrett

$4,000,000 per year

3 Years

be a valid offer? or would it have to stay at 4 years?
