T-C-U BETTER BELIEVE IT

#3 TCU took on #5 LSU this weekend and let everyone know that the Horned Frogs are legit. It was a defensive struggle but TCU was able to come out on top 13-10.

THE BUC STOPS HERE

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't give Christian Skaggs any break Sunday, sacking the QB 6 times. The offense did their part behind QB Taylor Heiden and rookie RB DeNorris Jackson and came away with a 28-21 win.

DREAM KILLERS?

A top 15 matchup between the #11 Toledo Rockets and #15 Florida Gators ended in heartbreak for the Rockets. Florida managed to pull out the 25-22 win on the road. Anyone doubting either team was put on notice.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

The Green Bay Packers have raced to a 5-0 start after beating the 2-2 Seattle Seahawks. This game was very banner worthy which is why it is on here. I wonder if anyone can "catch" the Green Bay Packers, or maybe "intercept" them? No no, definitely catch.

Forbes | Ranking CFBHC Program Prestige

What school has the best football program? Who has had the best history and tradition? Why does your team suck so much?

These questions can be overheard at any hole-in-the-wall bar and has been a topic of heated discussion for decades. A program's national prestige brings with it a lot of things; recruits, attendance, facilities, but our focus today is its draw to bringing in top tier coaching talent. We here at Forbes set out to find out once and for all which programs are the most desirable, sought after locations for coaches to land at and thus ultimately which university has has the most prestigious football program to date.

For this survey we spoke to 23 insiders in the coaching world about their opinions on conference and team prestige on a scale of 1-5, then we crunched the numbers using this formula:

    • Prestige = (4 x Conference Prestige) + (2 x Average Team Prestige in Conference) + (14 x Team Prestige)

This popped out a number out of 100 which we then used to grade each team's prestige from one to six stars. We felt this 30/70 split between conference and team prestige gave an accurate representation on how the coaches would ultimately decide to hypothetically move to another program as more prestigious conferences and programs have deeper pockets to shell out for the elite coaches.

Here's our results, note that the raw score is hidden but the rankings are still listed....

On my response spreadsheet it's correct - but I agree with you that something is up. They're both next to each other on the poll and there's a chance the proper responses didn't go to the right cell depending on how me vs Google Sheets handles the alphabetical order of Michigan vs. Michigan State. Let me work on it and see if I can figure it out.

Found Michigan and Michigan State had flipped scores, the data coming from the form was pointing to the wrong cell. I've checked over every other instance of state schools and any other "odd" rankings and every except the ND/GSU flip seems to be confidently in order.
