Matt Jones and his #4 Purdue Boilermakers continue the chug along to a B1G West division championship and possibly more following their 38-21 win over Nebraska on the road.

Things continue to click in Miami and the Dolphins were able to remain undefeated Sunday Night with a 35-19 win over the New York Jets. The acquisition of rookie WR J.C. Weldon seems to be just what the doctor ordered.

#12 Arizona bounced back in a big way following their surprising loss to the Utah Utes last weekend. Smacking the Colorado Buffaloes 45-10 behind an offensive explosion from QB Sam Parish and his weapons

Misfortune strikes again in Minnesota as the Vikings get beat down 45-11 by the Baltimore Ravens in their own house. On top of that, their already injury plagued team picked up four more injuries. Was that headline a stretch? Why yes...yes it was.

Texas Two Step?  Texas and Texas Tech both kept their undefeated steaks going with victories during the weekend.  The Longhorns had little trouble downing the Aggies of Texas A&M.  One thing that has to be concerning for other Big XII coaches is how well Texas was able to slow down Aggie star Jarvis Ward.  Ward had been on a tear all season, but was held mostly in check against Texas.  Texas Tech played Oklahoma in one of the most exciting games of the weekend, freshman sensation Solomon McLaughlin dueled Maurice White in a double-OT thriller.  Big XII coaches should be worried that Oklahoma has hit on something and will start turning things around.  West Virginia and TCU were able to get their first victories of the season.  The Mountaineers went to Arkansas and played stout defense in their take-down of the Razorbacks.  TCU was able to contain the Rice Owls and look to carry that momentum into their match-up with the undefeated Kansas State Wildcats.

Speaking of Kansas State.  How excited are the fans in Manhattan?  The Wildcats are 3-0 for the first time in school history.  It hasn't always been pretty this season, but they have found a way to beat the teams on their schedule.  This week the intensity picks up as they play TCU, but for now let's enjoy Kansas State's ascension back into football relevance.  Kansas and Baylor are both scratching their heads after their recent losses dropped them to 1-2.  Tuscan and Storm have hit the drawing board hard to stop the skid before it gets out of control.  Iowa State fought hard against Minnesota but didn't have enough offense to pull off the upset.  We'll see how the Cyclones do once we get further into conference play.
