Less than 700 yards total offensive both teams combined....good defense or bad offense?

What? 700 is a ridiculous amount of offense

Well. UMass must be running a smashmouth offense to try to limit the other teams offense from getting the chance to score. One problem with that. You must be able to score to win a game.

Trying to run as much clock off as possible so the opponent has less time to destroy their beyond Swiss cheese defense. Problem is the opponent only needs a few plays to get to the end zone

To be fair IRL like 107/128 D1 teams averaged 350 or more yards a game.  So less than 700 yards would be a very low yardage game. Being new to the site that is probably his point of reference.
