The Mississippi State Bulldogs pulled off a close 27-23 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes behind a gutsy performance from QB Ryder Shipman who stayed in the game and threw for 323 yards and 3 TDs despite having fractured his thumb late in the third quarter.

The Philadelphia Eagles topped the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football 31-28. The three headed monster in Philly's backfield: Allan Taylor, Troy White, and rookie Marshawn Miller put the whole league on notice with their performance.

The hype around North Dakota State QB Will Chacko continues to grow following a 389 yard 3 td performance which nearly resulted in an upset win for the Bison over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the New York Football Giants 27-0 despite only throwing the ball 6 times largely because of the legs of Terrence Rodgers and Justin Buchanan.

Hockey is back! And the Chicago Blackhawk's rookie sensation Anatoli Kolchenyuk picked up right where he left off notching yet another goal early in his rookie campaign.

[2020] Week 13 MAC Players of the Week

    Recommended Posts

Offensive :mac: Player of the Week: QB Blair Holcomb, Buffalo :buffalo:.  22 of 29, 350 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT. (W vs. N. Illinois)

There were approximately 2984 Bulls players worthy of being featured here, but Buffalo's triggerman gets the nod.  Holcomb was nearly flawless in an offensive exhibition versus the Huskies that pushed him to second place in the MAC for season passing yardage, and defensive coordinators are not looking forward to seeing him return for another season under center for the Bulls.

Defensive :mac: Player of the Week: FS Nicholas Mingo, Miami (OH) :miao:.  6 tackles, 2 INT (W at Ball State)

From Last Week's Awards: This is also Mingo's first POTW award and Miami hopes it isn't his last.

So all you have to do is nab two interceptions every week in order to show up here every week.  Simple!   Mingo was again crucial to the RedHawks' victory.  His two picks helped to place Ball State into a deep hole they couldn't recover from, and he is making a late push for All-Conference consideration.  One or two more of these games might let him aim higher....

Special Teams :mac: Player of the Week: K Timmy Wilhelm, Ohio :ohio:. 4/4 FGs (made 40, 40, 35, 50), 2/2 XP (L vs. Arizona State)

We GET it Timmy, you're really good!  A shame Ohio couldn't get into field goal range just once more, as the Bobcats lost to the Sun Devils by two.  You just know that Timmay would have come through in the clutch as he has so often in his career.  He's just piling on to his record now - this is appearance number 11 for the senior placekicker, five of them in this season alone. Wilhelm should get a chance to latch on to an NFL team - he has clearly outplayed his scouting report.

    Congratulations to all the winners!
