The Game lives up to the hype this year as (10-1) Michigan traveled to Columbus to take on (10-1) Ohio State for the right to take on Purdue in the B1G Championship. After a grueling battle that took 2 overtimes to decide, it was the Wolverines who stood victorious 36-33 in what was possibly the best game of the season.

The Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos both won their games Sunday, setting up a week 17 showdown to decide the AFC West. The Raiders toppled the Chiefs 24-14 and the Broncos survived the Jaguars 27-23.

As the final week of the regular season wraps up, teams turn their attention to the conference championships and bowl season. There are some solid match ups to look forward to with big implications.

The Detroit Lions and the Indianapolis Colts won this week, while the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings took losses, all becoming 6-9 on the season.

    • Numbers of voters: 3 :(
    • 12 points awarded for first, 11 for second, etc.

With only half the conference playing and no actual surprise results, it's not a shock that there wasn't much movement.  The two coachless teams Ohio and Miami switched places, but that was more a function of the Redhawks losing to the scorching-superduper-red-hot Eagles than anything else.  (Also, shout out to our new Bobcat coach @AD3378.  Good luck in your bowl game!)

The final week of regular season #MACtion sees it spread almost evenly across the entire network.

    Thursday Night
Akron (7-4) at Kent State (1-10)
Northern Illinois (3-8) at Ball State (4-7)

    Friday Night
Ohio (6-5) at Miami (OH) (6-5)

    Saturday Afternoon
Bowling Green (7-4) at Toledo (8-3)

    Saturday Evening
Western Michigan (9-2) at Central Michigan (7-4)

Byes: :buffalo: Buffalo Bulls (4-8), :emu: Eastern Michigan (7-5)

The MAC Network's Pick to Click: :wmu: Western Michigan Broncos (9-2) at :cmu: Central Michigan Chippewas (7-4).  This game won't decide the division.  It won't alter who holds the Michigan MAC Trophy, but the Victory Cannon IS at stake.  Central wants to show they can stand up to, and with, one of the bigger fish in the MAC pond.  Finally, Byron Suggs showed off against a tough Toledo defense and wants to repeat that performance against a strong (but not quite as tough) Western squad.

"If it's not MAC, it's wack!"
