The Game lives up to the hype this year as (10-1) Michigan traveled to Columbus to take on (10-1) Ohio State for the right to take on Purdue in the B1G Championship. After a grueling battle that took 2 overtimes to decide, it was the Wolverines who stood victorious 36-33 in what was possibly the best game of the season.

The Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos both won their games Sunday, setting up a week 17 showdown to decide the AFC West. The Raiders toppled the Chiefs 24-14 and the Broncos survived the Jaguars 27-23.

As the final week of the regular season wraps up, teams turn their attention to the conference championships and bowl season. There are some solid match ups to look forward to with big implications.

The Detroit Lions and the Indianapolis Colts won this week, while the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings took losses, all becoming 6-9 on the season.

Part 3: Out of Conference Recruiting Impact Rebalance

    June 12th, 2018

    Pre-Release v1.5.0.20

Notes: Thanks to all those who helped testing and recommended stuff as usual.

    General Info / Idea

I ran some numbers on the impacts for last season and rebalanced everything as listed below. This is a revision of CFBHC v1.5c posted two days ago.

    * Rebalanced OOC recruiting point impacts.

    • As before: For FCS opponents assume their value in this calculation is their FCS win total minus four.
    • As before: Wins for all teams include bowls or FCS playoffs but only one win counts if mulitple occured.
    • Average win of OOC opponents (in prior season) determines recruiting impact:
      • 0.00 - 2.50: -4 Weekly Points (from -3)
      • 2.51 - 6.50: -1 Weekly Points (from 0)
      • 6.51 - 9.50: +3 Weekly Points (from +2)
      • 9.51 - 12.00: +6 Weekly Points (from +5)
    • The old calculation determines points for 2022 (based on the 2021 schedules) but this new one will be used going forward (2023 (based on the 2022 schedules) and on).
