I can’t beieve J.C. Weldon didn’t win the Pepsi rookie of the year. He recorded 75 catches for 1,142 yards and 10 TDs.

And while Washington’s 41 tackles and 11.5 sacks are really impressive, 28 real life pass rushers have accomplished double digit sacks as rookies and only 4 rookie WRs have ever topped 1,000 yards and recorded double digit TDs in their first season.

players have done that in the sim way more often though.

Walt Peck and Dan Nomelini in 2014. (11 game season)

Mike Tripplett and Rodney Montgomery in 2015. (14 game season)

6 or 7 players have had 1k with 7+ TDs since then.

its far more rare to get 10+ sacks as a rookie in the sim.

Fair enough. I’m no sure what the real life to sim stats are like. Weldon was on fire all year though. I figured he was a lock for rookie of the year.
