Thursday Night Kickoff

Christian Skaggs and the Panthers travel to the desert to take on Nick Hall and the Raiders in the Season Opener.

Take A Bow

#1 Auburn cruises to a comfortable victory on the back of a powerhouse offense and a defense that left no room for TCU QB Felix Luck to breathe.

Culver looked better, but I think the Falcons still have work to do on the WR end to help him out.  Lots of Rookies and young guys have been getting on the statsheet which is great.  As of this week, all 3 of the Corners behind Wilburn have had picks.  Norris Williams is on his 2nd week of 6 tackles as our ILB.  And the running game is looking great with that 2 RB set of Cooley and Zion.

Still a lot to figure out, but positives.

so about those other 10, Mr. Vega?

Our top player grade was a 6.86 or something. I’m thinking he was running into a brick wall.

    Mike Miller looks pretty good

No question.  He's definitely exceeding my expectations so far.

In other news, Will Holly continues to make a case to get back on the field as more than just an emergency option.

and in the immortal words of Imposter: "fuckity fuck, we lost Clatterbuck"

I know (think?) you're memeing, but when youre playing a QB4 and WR6, WR5, WR10, WR9 against someones CB2, CB3, CB4, and SS1, youre going to get something like this result.

Same when youre playing 5 backup Olinemen and a RB4 (Sheffield), TE4, and TE5 against someones DE2, DT1, DT2. I'm not making excuses, would still have been nicer to see Vega step up a bit since at least the Falcons played backup LBs and maybe he needs to sit behind Tindale for a bit, just explains not being able to get the greatest read on the players there.

Im quite honestly surprised we only lost 23-3.
