Thursday Night Kickoff

Christian Skaggs and the Panthers travel to the desert to take on Nick Hall and the Raiders in the Season Opener.

Take A Bow

#1 Auburn cruises to a comfortable victory on the back of a powerhouse offense and a defense that left no room for TCU QB Felix Luck to breathe.

Tulane Head Coach "Simply Stunned" by Comments

    Recommended Posts

NEW ORLEANS, LA - A visibly frustrated Coach Challah took to the podium Wednesday to address comments made by AAC officials.

The issue in question relates to a podcast created by a member of the AAC in which Tulane was described as "really bad". The podcaster went on to say that "it would be lucky if they got one win" and "their defense is so bad that it's almost not worth mentioning".

Coach Challah had no issue with defending his team. "We may not be favored by the media, but we are a hungry team. Our guys are playing with a chip on their shoulder to prove that they are more than a doormat. I have confidence that we will get a victory and progress our guys and make meaningful strides to improve. We are not the little brother of the AAC. We are going to fight for every inch and show the haters that we belong."

Soon after, Tulane AD Matt Forte announced sweeping restrictions regarding the use of Tulane intellectual property.

    Those restrictions include:

    - Opposing teams may not wear the color green under any circumstances (St. Patrick's Day is an exception)

    - Computer desktop pictures may not be an ocean landscape

    - Significant travel restrictions in and out of the New Orleans area
