    Editors Notes:

    • Wow, the Patriots are a ton older than every other team in the league. Big outlier on the far end
    • The oldest division looks like the AFCN (Browns 15, Ravens, 19, Steelers 20, Bengals 31)
    • The division with the most variance is the AFCE (Jets 1, Bills 7, Dolphins 29, Pats 32)
    • Our past 4 Super Bowl champions - Raiders 3, Packers 27, 49ers 5, Cowboys 14

Any team surprise you? Any trends you see in this data? Would you rather be a bad young team or a bad old team?

Clearly would rather be a bad young team, but we're gonna go ahead and find the value in a mix of youth and experience, plus being mostly good is always a good starting place. Good piece...I'd love to see the correlation between wins and experience, say 2017-2021. Five years should be good barometer.

I'm gonna guess this is the entire roster.  Speaking for the Seahawks I'd expect this number to increase a bit more next year, then start dropping sharply for a couple of years after that as old warriors like MDS, Brian Glenn, Cowan, Queen, etc. fade out.

Huh, the majority of our age comes from the defense.  Considering it's the part of this team that's been so good for so long, I guess I'm not surprised by this.
