Reminder that Joel King's 5th year option was declined (not that it necessarily looked like a mistake at the time) so he's a free agent after this season

And they probably don't have any idea what he wants given their lack of re-signing attempts, so a transition/franchise tag seems almost inevitable.

its a 4-6 week injury. one of those is their bye. could be worse. division win on the road is hard to come by for most teams.

Maloney has not really had a very good year though? He has 22 receptions for 300, 2 touchdowns, and 4 drops as the #1 tight end. That is a yikes statline. 4 Drops after five games is horrendous.

Three of those drops came last week but yeah it’s not like he’s lighting the world on fire. He’s still probably the best tight end the franchise has had. 60 ypg isn’t bad for a TE
