Delay of Games

Only NFLHC games this week; only CFBHC games the following week; back to normal after that.

It Takes Two

It took two overtimes for Minnesota to top Illinois on a clinching run by RB Tredaveon Jennings.

Sometimes, It Be Ya Own Self

The Saints ruin their undefeated season by running trick plays, as punter Adonis Rosa throws an interception. You'd think people would have learned by now.

What Happens in Reno

Nevada upsets #6 Duke 17-13 by shutting down QB Bryce Thompson; true freshman Damon Goode had a pick for the Wolf Pack.

Cardiac Cards

The Cardinals were down 17-0 in the 4th quarter... and put up 21 points to win. WR Marcus Banks caught a 40-yard TD pass with a minute left to cap it.

Does anyone see a world/set of results in which Bama doesn't get into the playoffs?

    1. Bama

    2. Clemson

    3. ND

    4. Ohio State

Have to echo this as what I believe will be the top 4.

Bama losses badly to Georgia like 42-14 or something terrible.

Clemson blows out Pitt as expected

OSU dominates NW like 63-10 or something

    and ND is still 12-0

Clemson, Georgia, ND, OSU as the top 4 then.

    Probably 1. Clemson, 2. Georgia 3. ND 4. OSU

If they lose, I could see it happening. But, they might push OSU/OU out and make it

    1. Clemson

    2. ND

    3. UGA

    4. Bama

Thats probably more likely than my scenario but only if it’s a close game and loss to Georgia and then the committee would be going against their championships matter criteria.

Ill probably watch the Big XII and then miss the rest for flag league, so it will be the first time I miss the B1G in awhile. Hoping Northwestern can pull off the upset but not counting on it. Maybe the PAC on Friday?

CFP website has a countdown at 41 days until the Natty, which is crazy, because 41 days ago it was like October 14 and a lot more teams were still in it, full of hope about their young roster (or despair and the fact they were still employing David Beaty :ninja:). I get that they want to stretch out the season as much as possible, and there's a billion bowls to get in before the natty, but 5 weeks of off time is pretty crazy to me. Imagine the Super Bowl being like March 1, or the Stanley Cup being won after Canada Day and the 4th of July! But I guess I shouldn't complain about having football from August - February.

blah blah blah, what we're here for

    1. Bama

    2. Clemson

    3. Notre Dame

    4. Oklahoma (David Beaty is working as a consultant for Texas now, so I want him to do as badly as possible.)

Id rather see an Oklahoma get in with a close-ish W over Texas, than an Ohio State who won handily over Northwestern. I'd also rather have UGA in than Bama but trying to be realistic.
