Oh wow. Iowa State or K State not being last is insanely surprising.

This is better than I anticipated, but it kinda shows what I meant in that there's a bunch of teams all clustered together

Kansas didn't list a kicker pre-transfer. No field goal attempts or 1pt conversions.

Whoa. I haven't paid too much attention to non-Pac depth charts but I didn't expect WVU to be last in the non-kicker division. Is this a lingering hangover from the non-coached croot classes?

Is there any way to see where Kansas would be rated if our 2.5 of 2.5 kicker were playing?

I remember @smackemz talking in the past about how terrible the croot classes were at WVU before he got there, and thought maybe this was the year those bad classes came home to roost.

Again, I haven't looked at his roster so I'm probably just talking out of my ass. But it surprised me because I thought WVU had already gotten past those lean years.

I'm surprised as well - I feel the roster is getting to a pretty good point. We have a top 15 oline, so I'm a little surprised to be last in these rankings (if Kansas were to play their kicker).

Ah gotcha.  I think he's got a much better roster than these rankings suggest.  That's why I was confused on how you worded that

I fixed my cornerback problem plus my offensive line is really good

Yeah, very surprising to see WVU where they are. I think the top 3 are the class of the conference but the others could finish in any order.

This feels like getting an A on a group project when you barely put any effort into it.

Preseason ranks don't mean a ton, but it's always nice to sit on top.
