Hoosier Daddy?

The last undefeated team in the Big Ten is... Indiana?!?! The Hoosiers went on the road and dominated Wisconsin en route to a 31-17 win.

Wegrets as QBs Wheeled Out For Season

Jets QB Erik Wegert severely ruptured his PCL on TNF, and Titans QB Thomas Wheeler tore his rotator cuff Sunday, significantly hurting the hopes of both teams for 2023.

Horned Frogs SteAMRALled

#6 Oklahoma State took it to TCU, going up 28-7 at halftime and winning 38-14. RB Amral Brown came up huge with 142 rushing yards and 2 TD.

100-yard Curse Blackballed

The Colts hadn't had a 100-yard rushing game since Tony Peaks posted 150 and 2 TD in Week 17 of 2018. 2 games of JB Blacknall later, a 5-year drought is broken.

Catch Or No Catch?

Bengals WR Adrian Jankowski was furious that this catch on MNF didn't count, and it led to a tantrum and fine. Was it a catch? Depends on the perspective.

UDReview: The Weekly Blue Hen [Week 4 2023]

Recommended Posts

(We took the bye week off)

This Week's Blue Hen is...

Wide Receiver

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is UD's standout freshman wide receiver. Brown was redshirted last year after it was decided that he was a little raw out of high school. Brown seems to have a very high ceiling, and has began to show it racking up over 150 receiving yards and a Touchdown over the first three games. You can see Brown all over the field, making plays from both of the outside positions as well as the slot. Brown also handles punt returning duties and is on the field for kick return. The freshman has a lot of pressure on him but has been performing well so far. Coach Osu said of Brown, "He's got an eerie feeling about him, like for some reason I know the kid's gonna be really really good."

Brown did have a few issues concerning his attitude towards athletic trainers and coaching staff early in his redshirt season. He also was initially offended by the idea of having to redshirt, but had a change of heart a few weeks in. Brown spoke about his change, "After they shirted me I was pissed, like man I just wanna play give me some pads and a helmet. I had a talk with coach Osu and he helped me understand exactly what I needed to do to make an impact on the field." It seems to have worked for Brown because he was the focal point of the offense coming into the season. "His attitude totally changed," said coach, "he knows this is a team game and has worked harder than anyone else to ensure our success this year."

One thing that many people have began to notice about Brown is his friendship with graduate transfer Barack Holmes. The two developed a bond over their similar experiences from last year. Holmes spoke about his underclassman, "Antonio is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. ESPN announcers and BOFA analysts don't see all of the extra film he watches or how long he stays after practice working with Eric. He's been through a lot and just wants to be able to go out on the field and play to the best of his ability." We hope to see Antonio's continued development and success throughout this year and the next three!
