Hoosier Daddy?

The last undefeated team in the Big Ten is... Indiana?!?! The Hoosiers went on the road and dominated Wisconsin en route to a 31-17 win.

Wegrets as QBs Wheeled Out For Season

Jets QB Erik Wegert severely ruptured his PCL on TNF, and Titans QB Thomas Wheeler tore his rotator cuff Sunday, significantly hurting the hopes of both teams for 2023.

Horned Frogs SteAMRALled

#6 Oklahoma State took it to TCU, going up 28-7 at halftime and winning 38-14. RB Amral Brown came up huge with 142 rushing yards and 2 TD.

100-yard Curse Blackballed

The Colts hadn't had a 100-yard rushing game since Tony Peaks posted 150 and 2 TD in Week 17 of 2018. 2 games of JB Blacknall later, a 5-year drought is broken.

Catch Or No Catch?

Bengals WR Adrian Jankowski was furious that this catch on MNF didn't count, and it led to a tantrum and fine. Was it a catch? Depends on the perspective.

And this week's Chart...

So the big winner this week is Cal after their upset of USC.  The Golden Bears jump to fourth, their highest ranking ever since the Pac-12 Network started this series.  They tie with the Cougs, who took a tough loss over on the islands.  Washington and UCLA each move up a spot although the margin between them is razor-thin.  USC's loss moved them down, but not enough for them to fall into the lower half of the rankings.

In the bottom half Oregon State continues to make noise as they continue climbing up the Table, although not quite enough to displace the Sun Devils.  They did by knocking Colorado and Arizona down a peg.  Stanford and Utah stay mired at the bottom, although both can make statements as they host teams with winning records this week.

This week's games: (* denotes non-conference)

:orst: (3-1) at :uw: (2-1)
:ucla: (4-0) at :asu:(2-2)
:usf: (2-1) at :utah: (1-3)*
:usc: (3-1) at :stanford: (1-2)

BYE: :cal: (3-1), :oregon: (4-0), :wsu: (3-1), :zona: (2-2), :colorado: (1-3)

The P12 Network's Pick to Click?  Oregon State at Washington.  Before the season a Beavers game would have been considered a virtual bye by most Pac teams, but new coach @jc_superman has breathed some life into the program in Corvallis.  They've already surpassed their win total from last year!  Now Oregon State has a primetime Saturday Evening platform to show they're for real by going up I-5 into Montlake and trying to knock off the Huskies.  Washington had last week off after a narrow loss to the Fighting Illini at Champaign, and they know they can't take the Beavers for granted.

The story of this game may lie in the running game for both teams.  Oregon State is dedicated to the run, as seen by starting scrambler Jeffrey Davies and letting incumbent Eli Sherrill transfer to Virginia Tech.  Expect Washington to focus on sophomore RB Jayden Frey and force Davies to win with his arm.  On the other side of the ball the Huskies would like to get junior tailback Kofi Walls on track, in order to give opposing defenses someone else to worry about besides Jake Davis.

Didn’t think it was possible to be struggling more than last year but here we are!! I feel a bit sorry for Sir Finn as he doesn’t have much of a supporting cast but I bought him a burger last night and we chatted about how I’m working on giving him a tangible roster. He’s happy.

Excited for crooting to start this week so I can continue to try fill the rest of the voids! :)

I know that Washington will do almost ANYTHING to hold Oregon down, but we are 4-0 (1-0), thank you very much :)

Says the guy who was convinces Jake Davis would end the season at 7 TDs. ;)

Fixed, thanks.
