The defense played better after that, so it worked? That offense though...

Wow, that is some atrocious offense, boys. Frankly, I expect more and better out of these guys. bot sure what to do with Shamar: he seems like a a fired up leader, but could also be causing problems with the helmet throw and -1 locker room. Huh.

Good game, Bears. Allen is a beast.

Donnie Allen's 121 yards are a career-high, and match his last four games combined. He hasn't been all that visible since the KC game and hadn't had a 100-yard game in any of his (checks notes) last 30 statsheets dating back to 2021, so this is a huge breath of fresh air to see.

This is now six straight wins for the Bears, matching the franchise record set weeks 8-14 of the 2018 season. At 7 wins for the season, this will be at least tied for our second-best win total ever. We had 10 wins in 2018, 7 in 2019, and 7 in 2021. Our remaining opponents have a .618 winning percentage, which is the third-hardest schedule in the league...and .003 points behind the Giants' #1 remaining schedule.

This was our first shutout win ever. Jeff Holleyman now has 10.5 sacks this season, which breaks the single-season franchise record of 9.5 set by Andrew Fazande last year. Ezekiel Williams Jr. has 5.5 sacks and 2 fumbles forced, the first Bear to do that in a season since Morris Millen in 2020.

Now let's get down to Charlotte and tame some kitties.
