2024 NFL Draft early entries

Recommended Posts

This is the one and only round of early declarations. There are 45 this year, up four from last year's total of 41 and one up on the record (44 two years ago).

Dykes leaving early puts a major hole in my offense for next season. He is gonna be great at the next level though. Thanks for everything Dykes! Let’s bring home the natty before you leave!

Good luck young man, you'll tear it up in the pros.

Losing Heard will be the only significant departure heading into 2024, but I imagine he plays a bigger part in the offense than most people realize

this pisses me off (that he is declaring early). Oh well

This most likely knocks Trevon Bowser out of the first round. I never considered him a first round guy now, but barring a surprising combine and pro day, he seems to have little chance to go first round

Curiously though, none of the early declarations were coverage OLBs, leaving Gregory Gibson of USC as the only coverage linebacker worth being a top 2 round pick

Well, disappointed Jayson Waller is leaving early...clearly coming out as a 69 means he had some more work to do in school. Glad the rest of our draft-eligible student-athletes are returning for big run next season, however.

Ellison, Carlson, D'Angelo, and Wyatt Beck leaving their schools early really hurts. Carlson and perhaps one of the UCLA WRs were probably expected, but Ellison and Beck are killers.

Nazir Flowers is the absolute last guy I would have expected to declare early for me. I'm a bit blown away but at 78 he seems more ready than I guessed. Good luck to him and everyone should draft him early. .

On the other hand I'm excited to get one more season with both JWJ and Ballard, hoping to send them off on a little higher note. Thought I might lose at least one.

This is a pretty wild early declaration group and I like how there are less under 70 players declaring.

Last year we had eight 80+ players declare early and this year we have EIGHTEEN. Wild.
