Congrats, @Time! Wow, Marcus Burden has that clutch gene, apparently. Huge 2nd half comeback. Enormous victory for G5 and a long-term coach!!

@HAFFnHAFF...great year!! Your boys are amazing. Dykes and Williams and Pope were incredible. Kudos!

Congratulations @Time, a lot of hard work you've done over the years pays off. You've had a truly dominating season and in the end are a totally deserved champion. Our first ever G5 National Champion couldn't have been someone more representative for the site as a whole. You've kept chipping away until you had a route to the top.

Also congratulations to @HAFFnHAFF, I have no doubt that if you stick with Oklahoma you'll be back here again at some point soon. Your team is fun to "watch" and will be enjoyable to watch develop.

Look on the bright side. At least this one wasn't double digits. You're getting better

Thank you everyone for the congratulations!

What a crazy ride. I still remember my first game on the site, nearly 6 years ago now. We had this crazy comeback lead by Stephen Wilkinson from 42-24 down, and beat Kansas State. That gave me a lot of hope for my beginning time on the site, which was followed by SMU going 15-26 with the best season being 6-7 and being blown out in a bowl @bingo415 Since then we’ve gone 55-11 with two AAC championships and now, a national title.

Special shoutout to Senior CB Preston Cleveland. Even though its only his first year with the program as he transferred and lead the team with 5 interceptions. Lucas Dykes is not an easy man to cover and he did a good enough job of it.  As well as the other seniors getting significant reps in this game, Chase Eubanks coming up clutch with an interception, Aidan Blount with 107 receiving yards as my #3 receiver, Brayden Parks was 3-3 with his FGs today, Brody Whalen with a solid 43.1 punting average, and Abdul Leggett was key in leading this defense.

This season has been an absolute dream. So many close games against great competition, and Marcus Burden and the boys always did what needed to be done in clutch time. Despite the slow start today, we effectively shutdown Oklahoma in the second half and ended the game on a 24-7 run. I couldn't be more proud of how well this team has played all year, and we capped it off in the best way possible. Undefeated, national champions.

GG @HAFFnHAFF I haven't been this nervous for a game in a long time, and I know you'll make it back here

and hey we're just getting started too

I remember my first game on this site.   It happened to be this season.   I lost (got crushed) 66-7 to SMU.   Now this puts it in perspective, the absolute best versus, maybe, the worst.   Gives me incentive and fuels the fire....  Congrats, Time!

@Time Congrats!  Glad to see you get this accomplishment and it inspires me to try and build a program as successful as yours.

Also smoo =/= poo
