This guy is Tom Henderson. He just won the AP AFC Coach of the Month with the Las Vegas Raiders. He has also has a reputation in College Football as being a coach that bounces from team to team and somehow coaches miserably.

It all started in 2013, when he was hired to be the Offensive Line coach for the Colorado Buffaloes. He actually was pretty decent during that time, good enough to be the new offensive coordinator for the ECU Pirates in 2016. During his time with ECU the offense was atrocious and the Pirates fired him after back-to-back years of 2-10 seasons. Lo and behold, he was hired to be the Offensive Line Coordinator for the prestigous North Carolina Tar Heels, where he was hired as the new Offensive Coordinator in 2021 when Scott Oldbrook left for the Washington OC job. It was even worse than his time in ECU as the Tar Heels went 1-11 his lone season as the North Carolina OC. Nevertheless, the Montana Grizzlies (his alma mater) added him as the new offensive coordinator for the inaugural season of the team. The team went an abymsal 0-12. The next year he resigned from the Grizzlies OC job to turn his career around... with the Wisconsin Badgers. No luck found there. The team went 1-11 during his only season as the team's offensive coordinator. The Badgers fired Henderson after one season, and then the Raiders picked him up and announced him as thier new head coach.

So ask yourself this.... how did someone with no head coaching experience and a abysmal coaching repitoire during college ball suddenly win a AP Coach of the Month award?

OK, hear me out. Hear me out. I have a couple of theories:

    1. Nick Hall's performance pushed him to win this.

    2. October is a time for spookeez so it makes sense

    3. Tom Henderson bribed the AP guys to put him as the AFC Coach of the Month.

(btw that last part with the list is a joke)
