      John McKelvey, OT

      • Georgia Bulldogs 2013
      • Oakland Raiders from 2014-2021.
      • 53rd Overall Pick in the 2014 draft.
      • Started at Left Tackle for the raiders every year of his career, and went out on top after winning the Super Bowl in 2021 (was on IR that year, but still played most of the regular season)
      • 1x Super Bowl Champion (2021), 3x AFC Champion (2014, 2020, 2021), 1x Pro Bowl (2017)

I don't expect many to even know who McKelvey was but this guy was one of the most important players in Raiders franchise history.  Picked in the 4th round of the initial draft, McKelvey started as left tackle for the Raiders for his entire career.  While he doesn't have an all pro and only one pro bowl, I believe he was a top 5 LT in most of his playing seasons.  His post season prowess is what sets him apart from the other more decorated tackles.  Hes one of (I believe) two players to be on 3 Super Bowl teams for the same team.  He was also extremely versatile, going from the 2014 Super Bowl team that ran smash mouth to the Nick Hall years of heavy passing.  Since retiring, the Raiders offensive line went from one of the best to one of the worst.  In 2022, the Raiders allowed 48 sacks (3rd most).  In 2023, they allowed 50 sacks (1st most).  Seeing how far the performance fell once he was gone should tell you all you need to know about how important he was to the Raiders teams that he helped lead to 3 Super Bowls.
