stormstopper
Good game Steelers, that very much felt like a Bears-Steelers matchup in the late December snow should: gritty, defensive, and fought primarily at the line of scrimmage. That one definitely could have gone either way. For us: it's our second straight OT win on the road, and we've now matched our 2018 team's franchise record with our 10th win of the season. Riley Greenfield's been a bit of an unsung hero for us: Brian Chavez and Silolo Siula are our high-profile offensive linemen, but Greenfield's held down the right tackle spot like an absolute pro. Love seeing him get recognition today. Nick Rowland struggled today and we had a tough time blocking for him--but he's now up to 1440 rushing yards for the season, which are the most we've had in a single season since Quincy Turner's 1522 in 2018. (Vaughan's high for us was 1410 last year.) Sucks to see Mualu Sititi go down. He's another solid player at an unsung position who helps make our offensive attack work, not to mention all he does on special teams. Hope to have him back and good as new next season. Playoff race notes: Washington's magic number for the #1 seed, home-field advantage through the NFC playoffs, and a first-round bye is 1. Detroit has clinched a playoff spot with their tiebreaking extra point and results elsewhere. Our magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 1 with our win and results elsewhere. The Packers and Vikings are eliminated from division contention. The Lions can clinch the division with a win and Bears loss/tie or a tie and a Bears loss next week; otherwise, our trip to Detroit week 18 will be decisive. There is a four-way tie for the #7 seed in the NFC. (If the Rams lose to New England, this becomes a five-way tie for sixth.) All four teams will match up against another member of that group week 18: the Giants travel to Philly and the Packers travel to Minny. Because of this, at least seven teams are guaranteed at least 8.5 wins, which eliminates the 9-loss 49ers. There are 10 teams remaining in the NFC playoff race. Baltimore can clinch the AFC North with a win and a Pittsburgh loss next week. Otherwise, their week 18 matchup in Pittsburgh will be decisive. The Colts have clinched at minimum the 5-seed. Whoever wins the division will get the 1-seed, and whoever finishes second will get the 5. Has he taken a snap or can truly understand the ability, the mindset, and the physical and mental toughness, that it takes to play the qb position or any position in the NFLHC? So if you refresh in this page, it posts it again. just leave and re-enter the page and it'll stop D Stack
