The 2014 New York Jets season was the franchise's inaugural season in the National Football League. The team found success with a 7-4 record in the regular season, but lost the AFC East title to the Miami Dolphins and lost to the Dolphins in the first round of the playoffs.

Transactions

Trades

  • The Jets traded their third round pick (48th) to the Raiders in exchange for two seventh round picks (99th and 108th) and a 2015 fifth round pick. These picks were used to select Shawn Tennell, Tommy Leonard, and were used in the 2015 trade-up for Aaron Kotar respectively.
  • The Jets traded their fifth and fifteenth round picks (80th and 240th) to the Packers for their sixth and eleventh round picks (96th and 161st). These picks were used to select Brian Kiel and Tony Hennigan.
