CFBHC FCS Championship Playoffs
James Madison reached the FCS National Championship after winning both their Quarterfinal and Semifinal matchups. They were the only team in the playoffs to go on the road and win a game away from home thus securing their place in the final. JMU would go on to lose the national championship game in which they faced a dominant North Dakota State team. The road to the final looked like this:
