2016 Season

The 2016 Season was the inaugural season of Akron Zips football, as well as the rest of the MAC. Akron had a paltry start to the year, starting 0-4 before replacing their past head coach with the fresh faced fever_ful. While the team continued to struggle to finish the year, they managed to recruit one of the better classes in the MAC and squeak out a few close wins, most notably defeating rival Kent State University in the final week of the season in the battle for the Wagon Wheel.

2019 Season

As the 2019 season starts Haithere went inactive who was the leading coach of 2018. Akron ended up hiring Darkage who took over Akron at the record of 1-2 preparing to face 2 top ten ranked teams. Standing behind QB T.J. Zamora, RB Nathaniel Ruff, and the Akron defense, He will try to make Akron a winning team as said in this interview "I know i can turn the talent on this team into something great and I know come Thursday nights or any nights for that matter, our opponents Will FEAR THE ROO".

2020 Season

As the 2020 season starts the time for an Akron bowl is now with the bad recruiting of 2019. Just missing the bowl game in 2019 by one game they will try and get that needed 6 wins and maybe a conference title along the way.
