Alex Collins is an American football free safety for the Tennesssee Titans. He played college football at Auburn.

Early Life
Collins was born in a small town named Stone Mountain in Georgia. He started playing football at a young age. He played at Stephenson High School and received several scholarship offers from SEC teams.
College Career
Collins attended Auburn for four seasons and graduated with a degree in marketing. He was the team's starting free safety for his junior and senior season. Collins was the leader of the defense that also had Je'Rod Wimbush and Rabih Delaney.

Collins was the 3rd free safety taken in the draft after having a great combine. He was taken in the 5th round by the Indianapolis Colts.
Indianapolis Colts
Collins was the starting free safety as a rookie for the Colts. After the season, he was traded along with Tom Grant for Rodney Galbreath and a 7th round pick.
Cincinnati Bengals
Collins only spent one season with the Bengals before being traded again. Despite Collins making the Pro Bowl, he was traded for only a 4th round pick, used to select OLB David Kuppe and a 6th round pick, used to select FB Tom Edwards.
New York Giants
Collins made his second Pro Bowl in his first season with the Giants in 2016 despite not recording an interception. He continued to be the starter from 2017-2019 and had his best season in 2018 with 4 interceptions but did not make the Pro Bowl. During the 2020 offseason, he was traded again in a large trade with Titans along with OG James Redd, CB Allen Foster, and a 5th round pick which was used to select QB Julius McIntosh for WR Art Baber, OG Tony Glover, and DT David Lee.
Tennessee Titans
Collins is expected to be the starter for the 2020 season.
