Alexander Williams (born March 15, 1991) is an American football Quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at Texas A&M. The Cleveland Browns selected him with the twenty-fourth overall pick in the 2014 NFLHC Draft.

Professional Career

Williams ran the 40-yard dash in 4.72 seconds at the Scouting Combine. His was the second fastest of all quarterbacks in the 2014 Scouting Combine. In the 2014 NFLHC Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Brown with the 24th overall pick. He is the first quarterback to start for the Cleveland Browns

Season Storylines

2015 Season

Alexander started off the season as the starter and started the first 12 games. In Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals, he tore his ACL and was out for the remainder of the season.

2016 Offseason

Following the 2016 NFLHC Season, Williams rejected the Re-Signing offer from The Browns. He went into the 2016 offseason as the marquee free agent on the market. It was expected that Williams would receive offers in excess of $15 million per year. After a heated bidding war between the Seahawks and the Chiefs, Alexander signed a 2 year/$35 Million deal with Seattle.
