The Arizona Wildcats football team is the football team representing the University of Arizona, located in Tucson, AZ. The team competes in the Pac-12 Conference at the CFBHC Collegiate Football level. The team is currently coached by Wrigleyfan.
History
Neovenator250 era (2014-2018)
The Arizona Wildcats began their inaugural CFBHC season in 2014 with Neovenator250 as head coach. Neovenator250 led the Wildcats to a 46-18 record in five years at the helm including leading the Wildcats to a conference championship in 2017 and a 3-2 record in bowl games. He left Tucson after the 2018 season and headed to Gainesville to take over as the head coach of the Florida Gators.
thatfunk era (2019)
In an interesting twist thatfunk took over the Wildcats head coaching position for the 2019 season after Neovenator250 left the program to replace thatfunk at Florida. Thatfunk lead the team to a 6-6 record and qualified for the Bay Area Bowl where the Wildcats lost to Michigan 42-17. Thatfunk's stay in Tucson would be short as he decided to head back to the SEC and take the head coaching job at Arkansas after his only season at Arizona.
wrigleyfan era (2020-Present)
The 2020 season will begin a new era as wrigleyfan becomes the 3rd Arizona head coach. Wrigleyfan was brought in after leading the Indiana Hoosiers to a 6-6 record and a selection to the Birmingham Bowl (lost 20-14 to BYU) in his first season as a head coach.
