History

2014 Season

The 2014 season is the inaugural season for BYU. After beginning the season at a measly 1-3, the Cougars won 4 of their next 5 to reach 5-4 heading to the final quarter of the season. Then in their final road test the Cougars went into Rutgers and absolutely manhandled the Scarlet Knights 29-7, while holding them to just 124 total yards of offense to improve to 6-4, including 5-0 on the road. The Cougars then lost to an AJ Jefferson UNC squad, before finishing the regular season with a victory over Cincinnati on Senior Night. BYU then traveled to Lambeau Field for a match up against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Inaugural Franz Kafka Frozen Bowl. The Cougars emerged victorious in a 6-3 defensive battle.
