The Big 10 Championship Game is the matchup between the winners of the Big 10 West Division and the Big 10 East Davision to determine the Big Ten champion, as well as the league's automatic bid to the Rose Bowl against the PAC-12 champion (barring a playoff appearance). With a 52-6 victory over Minnesota in the 2019 Big 10 Championship Game, Penn State is the reigning champion of the conference for the second time. Michigan and Penn State have won the most Big 10 championships (2), followed by Ohio State, Iowa and Nebraska (1 each); no other school has won a conference title through seven seasons. Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Minnesota all made appearances in the game.
