Brian Brown (born June 9, 1991) is an American football Quarterback for the Denver Broncos. He played college football at Boise State. The Miami Dolphins selected him with the eleventh overall pick in the 2015 NFLHC Draft where he spent the first 9 years of his career. In the 2024 season Miami traded Brown to the Denver Broncos

Early Life

Brown was born in Boise, Idaho. He played quarterback at Bishop Kelly High School where he lead the team to multiple state championships. Brown decided to stay local and accepted an offer to play football at Boise State.

College Career

Brown received an athletic scholarship to attend Boise State, where he played for the Boise State Broncos football team from 2012 to 2014. Brown won the Heisman trophy during the 2014 season.

Brown ran the 40-yard dash in 4.92 seconds at the Scouting Combine. He was considered anywhere from the best to third best quarterback prospect in the 2015 NFLHC Draft along with Thomas Wheeler and Blake Shell.

Draft

In the 2015 NFLHC Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected Brown with the 11th overall pick. He was the first quarterback selected by the Dolphins in the first round.

Trade
