Early Years
Harper was born in Fort Myers, Florida.
Arizona Cardinals (First Stint)
Harper was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2018 NFLHC draft, but largely failed to live up to expectations during his rookie contract, and was allowed to walk in unrestricted free agency.
New York Giants
The Giants signed Harper to compete for a spot on their roster in 2022, but an injury during training camp held him out of competing for the role for the entire preseason. He was released with an injury settlement during roster cutdowns.
Arizona Cardinals (Second Stint)
Despite being questionable for the first few weeks of the 2022 season, Harper made a return to Arizona, largely due to some concerns at the slot receiver postion, manned by ageing Art Baber and ex- Giant and Raven Ibrahim Smiley. He re-signed to a 1-year extension at the 2022 midseason.
Carolina Panthers
During the early stages of 2023 Free Agency, the Cardinals traded Harper and a 2023 6th Round pick to the Panthers for Jay Arreola.
