Draft
Cap Christian was one of the top wide receivers in the 2016 NFLHC draft. He was selected with the 44th pick in the 2nd round by the New York Giants.
New York Giants
Christian only spent one season with the Giants in which he was underwhelming. He entered the 2016 expansion draft.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs selected Christian with the 12th pick in the expansion draft. He had a productive first season with the Chiefs but the success of Hines Mertens put Cap Christian on the trading block.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans traded a 5th round pick (used to select Daniel Nance) and Angelo Huddleston for Rob Johnston and Christian during week 8 of the 2018 season. Christian finished the season strong for the Titans. However, early into the 2019 season, Christian suffered an ACL injury which sent him to the IR. He returned from injury in 2020 but struggled and slid down the depth chart ending the season with 23 receptions and 6 drops.
