Chad Dess, popularly known as the Loch Dess Monster, is an American football Running Back for the Tennessee Titans.

College Career
Chad Dess was the starting running back for Virginia Cavaliers during the 2013 and 2014 CFBHC seasons. He helped lead the Cavs to a 9-15 record in his storied career. He earned All ACC honors in 2013 and 2014 and was one of the top running backs in CFBHC at the time. He was named as a finalist the Doak Walker Award, and finished sixth in the 2014 Heisman voting.

Professional career
Pre-draft
During the 2015 NFLHC combine, Dess turned in a 4.70 40-yard time, a 35" vertical leap, a 9-6 broad jump, 24 reps at the bench press, 4.32 shuttle, and a 6.95 3-cone.
Draft
Dess was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2015 NFLHC Entry Draft with the #30 overall pick.
Green Bay Packers
As a rookie, Dess ran for over 1,100 yards and 15 touchdowns on his way to a Pro Bowl nod. He followed up with over 1,000 yards in 12 games during his sophomore campaign.
Following The 2016 Season, Dess was traded to the Buffalo Billsexpansion team, traded along with Steve Pointer and a 7th round pick to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for 2nd, 4th, and 7th round selections in the 2017 draft.
Buffalo Bills
Dess quickly became a staple in the upstart Bills offense, rumbling his way for over 6,000 yards over the next four and a half seasons.
During the midpoint of the 2021 season, the tanking Bills traded Dess for a conditional draft pick from the Los Angeles Rams. The pick resulted in 4th round compensation for the Bills.
Los Angeles Rams
Dess was brought to Los Angeles in the hopes of a Super Bowl run. The Rams didn't make it to the big game, and Dess would leave to free agency after just half a season in L.A.
Arizona Cardinals
Following a series of free agent visits to New Orleans and Kansas City, Dess finally settled on the Arizona Cardinals.
Tennessee Titans
Following the drafting of rookies #6 overall Trevon Yeldon and #60 overall Ricky Vega, the Cardinals traded Dess to the Tennessee Titans for LB Jackie Eaton and a 2022 NFLHC Draft 5th round pick. Dess helped power the #1 ranked offense in the league which scored over 30 points per game. Although the team was pass-focused, Dess tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns with Asante Sowell.
