The University of Colorado Buffaloes, currently coached by paperllamasunited, are a collegiate football team playing in the Pac-12. The Buffaloes play at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado and are a member of the South Division of the Pac-12.

History
Rome era (2013-2015)
Rome was the first head coach in Colorado history and coached the team for three seasons. The Buffaloes finished 5-7 in each of Rome's seasons and heartbreakingly missed bowl games by the narrowest of margins.
garris9 era (2016)
garris9 took over when Rome left Boulder for Auburn and the previous coach was immediately missed. The team went 2-10 in garris' only season at the helm. After the 2016, he quit the site and was never heard from again.
Dacder era (2017-2019)
Dacder was tapped to replace garris and he led the Buffaloes to their most successful run in school history. After finishing 3-9 in 2017, Dacder's Buffaloes surged to a 7-5 regular season in 2018 and were awarded with their first bowl bid in school history. Dacder coached the team for the first five games of the 2019 season and after compiling a 2-3 record, quit the team and focused on his NFLHC career.
Franz Kafka era (2019 - 2021)
Franz Kafka was hired after the fifth game of the 2019 season and the Buffaloes immediately became one of the hottest teams in the Pac-12. The team finished 8-4 in the regular season, with Kafka's only regular season loss coming to a highly ranked Oklahoma team. The Buffaloes received their second consecutive bowl bid, but again lost their postseason game. Kafka left midseason in 2021 to take over the Georgia Bulldogs.
paperllamasunited Era (2021 - present)
Following Coach Kafka's midseason departure, the Buffs Athletic Department began a search for their next head coach. Citing prior success with Central Michigan and Iowa, they turned to Coach llamas in hopes the team would make a bowl push, sitting at 4-2. Under llamas, the offense struggled, and the team closed the season going 1-5 in their last 6 games, including a loss to then-completely defeated Cal, and finished up at 5-7.
In 2022, the Buffs stampeded out of the gates to an improbable 4-2 record, only dropping games to Coach Jumbo and USC (on the road, by 1), and having a nightmare of a game at believer's Stanford, as Heisman candidate Troy McMurray shredded the Buffs defense on the ground and through the air. As the season progressed, redshirt senior cornerback DeSean Barkley made an improbable run at his own Heisman campaign. Near the end of the year, a documentary dropped about his pre-superstar life, placing him as a household star across the nation. The Buffs finished the regular season 10-2, behind Barkley's stellar season in which he recorded 10 interceptions and 9 passes defensed. Coach llamas had again struck gold with a scrambler, as redshirt freshman Mike Naylor joined his Buffs teammate Barkley in shattering previous season records. For his incredible guidance of the team, Coach llamas was awarded with the Pac-12 Coach of the Year Award.
