Dallas Gelbaugh is currently the Secondary Coach of the University of Virginia football team.

Early years
Gelbaugh grew up in rural Virginia with aspirations to play football professionally. He garnered little Division 1 Interest as a High School recruit, but the one school that maintained contact was Virginia. As a Senior, Gelbaugh decided to commit to UVA. He graduated as the All-Time leader in Interceptions.
College Career
Gelbaugh was the #1 CB for the Cavaliers during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. He was the #4 Cornerback on the roster in 2013 as a freshman. He climbed to the #3 Cornerback in 2014. He was Red-Shirted in 2015 and was then able to stay at school until 2017.

CFL Career
Gelbaugh wasn't drafted in the 2018 NFLHC Draft. After not getting signed to an UDFA deal, Gelbaugh sought other opportunities. He signed a 1-year deal with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. He got off to a good start, leading the secondary that lead the league in Interceptions and Quarterback Rating Against. In Week 11, with the team at 6-4, Gelbaugh suffered a torn ACL and torn MCL. After 6 months of rehab, he decided to retire from football.

Post-CFL Career
Following his retirement, he continued his rehab until his doctors were satisfied that he could continue everyday life without a brace. Initially, he became a car salesman in Richmond, VA while staying close to the Virginia Cavaliers Football Team and Coach npklemm in particular.
Coaching Career
Gelbaugh was hired in Week 8 of the 2019 CFBHC Season. The team went 6-2 after he was hired. Gelbaugh finished his playing career as the leader in Interceptions with 6. During the 2019 Season, Junior Timothy Parks broke his record by Intercepting 7 passes in his first season at Virginia.
