David Pennington is an American football strong safety for the Oakland Raiders.

College career

Pennington was a 5 star recruit from Arkansas who committed to Vanderbilt during his Senior year in High School. He was a 4 year starter for the Commodores, and capped it off with a historic Senior year in which he recorded 8 interceptions, 3 touchdowns, and won the prestigious Chuck Bednarik award, which is given to the best defensive player in college football, for the 2018 season.
